Amazing food, service, and the set up of the restaurant. Usually my family and I feel packed into a restaurant and always get bumped into. Well not at McCoy’s. They have plenty of room where your not left feeling like a sardine. The food portions were perfect. The detail to the food was top notch. Price was perfect. Felt like a 5 star restaurant was placed in my home. Staff treated my family like we had been friends for years. I’d rate this restaurant 10 stars if I could.

Service was fine, but the food left much to be desired. I had the Kansas City Strip Steak and it was fatty and tough. My friend ordered the ribs after being by our server told that ” the meat just falls off the bone”. He couldn’t eat them because they were so dry and hard. Now I know why there were only two tables with customers on a Saturday evening. One visit was enough for me.

I will start by saying, the owners are awesome! They surely know how to make sure everything is done to bring a first time customer back again. That being said the food was amazing and the service we recieved very warm, welcoming and making you feel like you were part of the family. Now it must have been an off night but the wait time for our food was way too long and the amount of sides they ran out of was unacceptable. This is why they only got 4 stars rather than 5.

My husband and I came here and ordered the crab cakes, filet with salad, loaded baked potato and asparagus, and the cheesecake for dessert. I can’t say enough positives about it all. The steaks were cooked to perfection (we topped with mushrooms and onions) as was all the food we ordered. The staff was friendly and attentive. With only one review and it being newly opened, we were a bit skeptical. But we were very pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be back

There was very little to no wait and the waitress Liza was amazing! I ordered Jen’s Filet as I am an avid steak eater. This was by far, the best, most tender steak I’ve ever had. You don’t even need a knife to eat it, literally!

Our visit to McCoy’s occurred during a time when they were slammed with guests and were serving a limited menu, and still they managed to serve very good food and with friendly, attentive service. Well done you! We look forward to visiting soon on a regular night.

The server was very nice. They did not have their advertised Kansas City strip or the sirloin or lobster tail. We defaulted to the filet mignon. It was not par for a steakhouse. The vegetables were equally disappointing. The restaurant was also very cold (the heat was not on).

Great little place that is tucked away from view. Amazing steaks and appetizers! Steaks seem to have that perfect char to them along with amazing seasoning. Staff is very friendly as well and takes great care of you. Definately would reccomend this place for a quiet night out with your significant other!

Steak way undercooked. Calamari tastedcas if straight out of bag and microwave. Chili was way heavy on spice. Salad was fine and server was friendly but not menu savvy. Owner could have handled issues and situation with better bedside manner. Bad nights happen I suppose but the place isn’t good enough to last in that location. Sad, I hope they turn it around.
