Great food and staff. Your fried foods are cooked to order. Ordered the 4 piece catfish meal with 3 sides. Sides are somewhat small in portion but delightful. Overall I’ll give it 5 stars. Look forward to trying another dish.

No seasoning in the greens, the cabbage and black eyed peas were bland, oxtails had light seasoning. The roasted chicken had some flavor. The service was slow, I assume the cashier was new and had the line out to the door and held up the serving line. The ladies working the line are asking what you want before you’re able see what they’re serving, there’s no menu’s or signs showing what’s being served, it was just a HOT mess. I cant return

Tried for the first time this past Sunday. Just got veggie plate. Asked if there was cake was told only Red Velvet left. I got that. Got home and the cake had been eaten off of already with dirty fork inside.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone that doesn’t know how to cook and they are looking for food that their mother used to make. Make sure you get there early on Sundays because if you show up after 1:30pm you will be in line… Awesome Food!!!

Sunday Feb 19 23. Unbelievable meat loaf tastes like it was burned bottom part.They tried to cover it up with extra sauce. Amount of vegetables they give you is very small. $16 for a dinner, I tried to eat it couldn’t taste the meat loaf. All I could taste was all the tomato sauce they had on top. It went in the trash can. I can’t understand why would you serve food? that you wouldn’t eat if you went to order food. Been going every Sunday after church, think this was it for me. Not upset hope they’re blessed with their business.

It’s March 24th @ 1110. The hours on the door state they open @ 11am. The doors are locked and I see employees standing in the kitchen. No acknowledgment that we are at the door. Yes, the food is good. But I’m no longer giving them a pass on basic business etiquette. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this.

This is the best place to go for some great soul food the environment is warm and the owner is great very down to earth spirit and the food was great Catfish awesome smothered porkchop was delicious the chicken Alfredo is superb they take there time and cook your order fresh but it is well worth the wait let’s just say Sunday dinner I will be there
