We had dinner here Cinco de Mayo and it was so good! The only negative was the live band WAS SO LOUD!! They also performed right at the entrance so it was congested and confusing but I will definitely return. My teenage son said it was the best quesdilla he has had so he will be back lol.

Me and my family went to La Fuente for dinner because we enjoy Mexican food. We ordered our food and somewhere along the lines, I asked for sour cream and guacamole. Our waitress brought over a big bowl of sour cream and guacamole, which is what I didn’t ask for as it was supposed to be a small portion. When we asked to speak to a manager, we explained to her what happened and she seemed like she understood but didn’t want to take the charges off. She did decide at some point to do it but in the process snatching the guacamole of the table because she was mad due to their error. After she returned to the table with our new receipt, I notice that there were extra charges. She ended up charging us for 4 sodas instead of 2. She called us nasty and gross for sharing drinks. Like really? This is my family. She claimed that in this “business” they don’t do things like that. This was clearly retaliation for the guacamole and sour cream incident. Or was it also because we are an interracial family? I also found it interesting that charging us for the extra 2 sodas added up to the price of the guacamole ($4.50) and instead of her understanding that we should have been told this from the beginning she continue to insist that we were dirty. There was no apologies for the lack of communication. She said she was the owner but I have never seen her before as it usually a nice gentleman that is in there whenever we go. I don’t appreciate this treatment especially after paying $50 for dinner.

I just ordered nachos from them it was horrible they were microwaved cheese the pico de giao was in a seperate cartoon along with the sour cream and lettuce. I will never order from them again I hope you don’t treat your first time customer this way. I did not like it and I didn’t eat it.

Good food and good service. The staff was very attentive. Food was somewhat typical but surprisingly not as flavorful as most Mexican restaurants. The grilled chicken tasted liked boiled chicken more so than grilled. Would go back as it was an ok place.

Atmosphere was laid back but there weren’t very many customers when we stopped in. Staff seemed polite and we had no issues with timing, delays or forgetting anything at all. My Carne Asada was delicious and the “current” best I have had in Gaston County. The other main meal pictured is the Pancho Villa Platter which was decent (not bad by any means but we’d be trying something different next time). The last was a kids Cheese Quesadilla which was a good sized portion and tasted good.

Help…we are stranded. Our waitress forgot about us. Maybe she’s paying for our food. Our leftover queso is hardening in the bowl. The chicken is beginning to mild. Mike’s hair is growing back. Azreal is getting taller and has outgrown their clothes. Leo is going to starve. Our faces are probably on the side of a milk carton by now…Missing…last seen hours ago going into La Fuente. We’ve even tried to call them to bring our bill and they pick up the phone and hang it up. Our waitresses’s nails are also half a foot long…definitely not hygenic for a food establishment. The waitress finally handed us our bill and told us verbally that it was $10 more than it was…goodness.
