Traveling in Orlando and decided to just search “food” on google maps, saw this place. I was so excited to try this place it just looked delicious!! I wasn’t disappointed. Came here at 11 PM and the food was fresh and delicious, I love how the food was made to order. My bf is a picky eater and he enjoyed his sandwich and the Mac n cheese bites were amazing. If you’re in the area check this place out!!!

After watching shark tank, we decided we HAD to stop in and try their sandwiches. We ordered the Fat Maverick and the Fat Jersey. Both had a decent combination of flavors, but it, unfortunately, was not up to the hype we thought it would be. We ordered takeout and brought it back to our hotel right across the street, yet the bread was soggy from the sauce and overall the sandwiches had a dry taste. The chicken tenders were soggy, not crispy as expected. Overall, disappointed and will not be back.

What is there not to love about the crazy combination on one sandwich! My wife has been wanting to try this for a while and we finally came. The construction in the shopping strip sucked, but don’t let that deture you from stopping here. The sandwiches are amazing, the fries are on point, and who doesn’t want to try a Philly with chicken fingers, mozzarella stick, popper, fries, etc… So good.

I’ve honestly never heard of this place since I live in Jersey, but since it was a similar idea to “CARS: Sandwiches & Shakes” back home I wanted to try it. I visited with my aunt and cousins, the staff was very polite to us and kindly offered my baby cousin a small bowl of mac & cheese since he’s a picky eater. So it was nice to see there are still kind people in the world lol. We did wait a bit for the food , but I wasn’t in a rush so I was cool with it. I had the “Fat Cow” Fat Sandwich, without the buffalo ranch and I genuinely enjoyed it! It wasn’t hard or impossible to chew and what consisted of the sandwich blended well together. Thank you for the food and pleasant experience!

This is a small hole in the wall place in the middle of a shopping center back off University Blvd. They only have two tables inside and one outside, so it’s basically a takeout place. The food was okay, but not great. We tried three of their sandwiches and a burger. They got the food out pretty quickly, but the consensus in our group was that the sandwiches were just mediocre, and really just gimmicky. I’m sure they taste better if your hammered and want something to eat after going to a club, but that doesn’t describe my dining needs. The deserts were very tasty and basically fried cookies and twinkies with lots of powdered sugar, so really the kind of thing you buy at the fairgrounds after you get off the tilt-a-whirl.

Small take out place open late. The menu has burgers and sandwiches plus fair style deep fried desserts including Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, and Twinkies. I loved the desserts but the sandwich had an overwhelming amount of fried items on one bun.

I went to the fat shack at about 2:45 AM on Saturday morning and got a cheesesteak and it was surprisingly good not greasy and it was done exactly the way I asked for it and I am a picky old grouchy guy…. The bread was fresh and soft and good and although $14 for a cheesesteak. It’s not a tremendous bargain. At least it was surprisingly good fresh done quickly and I recommend this place….. I can’t speak for anything but the cheese sticks, but I have a feeling that the food is decent across-the-board… again I am a foodie and picky and was pleasantly surprised. Thank you. Food Shack…. four for atmosphere because it’s a takeout joint your ain’t going there to Woo your date.

As soon as we got there Clayton was extremely friendly and helpful! With his suggestions we got the fat shack and the fat maverick… oh my goodness it was amazing !! I definitely would recommend. We might have to stop here again before our trip is over! From the service to the food everything was perfect you won’t be disappointed!
