This was a really good sub… I had the Italian with a cup of chili. The sub was really good, I really enjoyed it. The chili was surprisingly good. The service was what earned my 5 stars. The lady who took my order was awesome she loved her Jodi and that is a rare find at a fast food restaurant. I would go back just to watch her work. The subs are worth the trip back too

I went to firehouse on my lunch break the other day and I have to say I was very disappointed with the quality. I’ve always gotten the steak and cheese and the steak has definitely changed in look and taste. It’s not as good of quality as it used to be and it made me lose my appetite. It’s a shame that prices have went up only for the food to taste worse. :/

Phoned in an order at 613pm. Arrived and paid ten minutes later. At 640pm, I was asked about the name on the order. The guy behind the counter walked to the back prep area, retrieved a bag, and set it on the counter. He turned and walked away. I asked him how long it had been sitting, only to be ignored. I contacted their corporate number and have not received a response from them as well. Because of this incident, I won’t have to eat at this place any longer.

I LOVE firehouse subs anyway any day of the week. Especially since they will still sell me a veggie sub even though its not on the menu. But this particular day was even better. On 6-29-23 at 7:15pm i just got back from a 12 hour drive split into 2 days with a crying baby and dead stop traffic for the last 3 hours and didnt have any food at home so decided on firehouse. The crew on staff was running like a well oiled machine and it was the best thing about my chaotic day. And the cashier (didnt catch his name, im so exhausted) was exceptionally polite and professional and EFFICIENT!!!! Give him a raise. Haha. The girl who gave me my food was also very polite. Not as common in the food industry as it used to be unfortunately so it was very appreciated today. Thank you.

Excellent sub shop! Conveniently located in the heart of Fountain City. This was our first visit, so I really appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Quick service, and the sandwiches were superb! Soft wheat bread melted in my mouth, unlike so many places where the bread can be tough. I chose the honey ham, and it was warmed just right. Hubby chose the smoked beef and cheddar brisket, both sandwiches were delicious! Good prices, especially for the combo meals. A return trip is guaranteed!

The worst attitudes of any firehouse I have ever been to in any state. Waiting on an order, I observed customers politely engaging with the staff and they were ignored or scoffed at. The staff isn’t respectful or polite and they all lack basic customer service skills.
