This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. Our server was very friendly and took very good care of us. I had the sunflower roll and it was the best sushi roll I’ve had in a long time. Also had the cheese wontons, gyoza, and avocado bombs. Excellent apps. The entrees looked and smelled good too, there are a lot of options on the menu. Can’t wait to come again!

Food here was amazing! The kids meal is really awesome, noodles, rice, and teriyaki, and a bit of fruit. My kiddo loved it. The sushi was awesome as well! Will definitely eat here again soon. It was very busy and bustling for lunchtime. They need a larger cafe, but a great problem to have!

This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the area. Years ago, they took over the spot in Lithia Crossing that was formerly known as Pacific Grill. While I do miss the former restaurant, I must say that Sunflower Café is even more appealing and offers more of a variety of dishes. I’ve had quite a few menu items over the years. Everything has been fantastic! They have ramen, udon, hibachi, sushi, and even a few Korean dishes such as bibimbap. Their hibachi entrées are a favorite in this area. I’ve tried other hibachi in the area and the quality and quantity just doesn’t compare to the one at Sunflower Café. Their house made yum yum sauce served with the hibachi is addicting. I’m also a big fan of the ramen as well as the sesame ball appetizer.

Sunflower always has a wait outside, so our family finally decided to check it out. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. We had the tempura appetizer, sushi, a kid’s meal, miso soup, a soup dish, and a noodle dish. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive, and the owner made her rounds to check on everyone. We will definitely be back.

Really upsetting experience. We dined in on a busy weekend night. My wife and I ordered an entree each and a roll to share. After nearly an hour, we asked our waitress for an update on the food. She brought out our shared roll, but not the entrees. We looked over and noticed that another table who had been there before us, still didn’t have their food. We decided to cut our losses, eat the shared roll, and cancel our entrees.

This is our family’s second trip to Sunflower Cafe. We invited another family to join us and wanted to send them off on their last day in Florida with great sushi! Sunflower didn’t disappoint! Our group included 4 adults , 1 teen, and 4 children. Everybody enjoyed their bento box meal but I had a poke bowl called “Rainbow Bowl” and a small sushi roll of yellowtail. It was delicious, service was great, and bathroom was clean!
