The Catfish & Steak is top tier, always will have a delicious dinner with either of these choices. However I got the flounder once that tasted like mud. Only once, for obvious reasons, So with only one data point I can’t recommend it or say avoid it, Just worth sharing that experience. Most weekends are very busy, expect to wait 45-75mins. Cell coverage out there is almost non existent so keep that in mind if you’re bringing young kids.

I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The staff are the friendliest folks (service as sweet as their tea) you’ll ever find anywhere. Yes… there is a long wait if you don’t get there early but where can you go eat and not be a wait? Unless you want fast food and I don’t. I can tell you this – the food is worth the wait. I’ve had the shrimp, catfish, oysters, scallops and clams its always been very good. I keep telling myself to try the steak but keep getting the pick-3 seafood. Someone sitting by us last night and ordered the steak and it looked fantastic, next time I’m getting the steak. Give it a try… I think you will enjoy it.

Service and ambiance were excellent. My pev was with the entree itself. If you have catfish in your marquee, it’s what you want to be known for. There wasn’t much to know in my catfish dinner. I’ve had excellent catfish meals before. The restaurant at High Falls Park served up my home plate meal. A full filet of fish served up to a hungry guest. The catfish I had appeared butchered, not skinned and served whole. I was so in hopes of finding a good catfish meal close to home. I guess I’ll have to fish my own.
