Crab was overcooked, dry, and rubbery although they did replace it and the second leg was much more juicy but still slightly rubbery. The clams were overly salty almost as though they were on the verge of being bad. Again they did offer to replace it, which we did, but this time with the chicken sandwich, which was much much better. The service was excellent, the food was just okay.

GREAT SEAFOOD CHOWDER! It was a little chilly on the Spit, so we wanted something a little warmer and heartier than fish and chips. We started with the Halibut Cheeks. One word: BOMB. Huge hunks of fish, with a delicious coconut coating garnished with an orange and horseradish marmalade for the perfect swirl of a bite. I love pineapple but appreciated the orange sweetness and zest, with the slightest hint of spice from the horseradish. Also, the chowder is the perfect size bread bowl. There was a perfect amount so you aren’t feeling guilty leaving an entire bread bowl behind, uneaten. A nice blend of seafood, not overly salted, and absolutely not fishy. Being pregnant, my palate is SUPER sensitive and it’s honestly some of the best chowder I’ve had. Our server was also very sweet and the perfect amount of attention.

Wasn’t expecting “great tasting” seafood at a “grill” but dang was that good! Had the Alaska Bay oysters for appetizers and Coconut breaded orange/lemon zest with an ounce of Halibut cheeks! AMAZINGLY GOOD! So fresh! Highly recommend if coming to Homer Split, Alaska! They won’t disappoint!!

The food was great but I ordered Fish and Chips and was served 3 small pieces of Cod and very few fries for the grand price of $24! And they were out of tarter sauce! Child portion. The Halibut was $33.00 Glad I didn’t go for that in the Halibut capital of Homer!

Food was amazing, service was great. We tipped both the waiter and the drinks lady well because they were both so efficient. Definitely try the seafood mac and cheese and the Halibut tacos. The king crab leg was outrageously priced, bit they are so expensive for the restaurant to buy, that you can figure put why they have to charge so much. It was pricy but delicious! Restaurant was so clean and so were the restrooms.
