The Chile Verde is delicious and prices are reasonable. Service was good and there is a family owned business type environment where the owner himself will at times walk through the restaurant and make sute all is well.

The wind was blowing hard. The rain was coming down furiously. My family needed a place to find shelter. We were hungry for Mexican food. Google maps led me here. As we walked in we realized we were the only people there. Not a good sign. Then I just figured it was because of the rain. We sat down. They brought us chips. Yum. Things were looking good. Now look at our menus. They have carne asada fries. It’s going to be a good night. The kids order the enchiladas from the kids menu. I got the fries. My wife got the carne asada platter. Our waitress was really nice. Our food came out pretty promptly. It looked really tasty. But upon further inspection the steak was quite chewy. Also the enchiladas for the kids were extremely spicy. When we let our waitress know at the enchiladas were so spicy she was very nice and took 10% off our bill. Also while we were at the counter paying our bill the kids started to ask about the horchata they saw in a cooler behind the counter. They hadn’t ever had it. So, the waitress gave them a free sample! So nice. All in all, it was a good experience. The service was really good and prompt. However, I wouldn’t take my family back due to the poor quality of food.

Had karaoke which I thought was fun but too loud for such a small place. The waitress told us to have a seat, took forever to give us menus, we ordered drinks, a while later got them, then she walked off without taking our order even though we were clearly ready. We were about to leave when she came so we stayed, food was mediocre. Had to ask for boxes and our check. Only one other table in The whole place and she ignored us a lot. And way over priced.

Its nice and clean. I had a michelada but it was ok. I ordered an aguachile. As soon as the waitress arrive she almost spilled the food on top of me, she was in a rush, she didnt have any personnel to help. After she spilled some juices she didnt even bother to clean, not even a sorry. I even had to ask for napkins. Will not be returning!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Tacoma. They have the authentic taste and menu of a family-run taqueria, but they offer a more upscale look to the place with recent renovations. Highly recommended.

This is the old Tacos Guyamas. I had the nachos. Very good nachos I will add. The salsa bar is decent and the service is friendly. It’s inexpensive and the portions are large. Be prepared to take food home.

The food here is delicious! I’ve tried the rolled taquitos, carne asada plate, shrimp ceviche and churros. It reminds me a lot of Mexican eateries in Vegas, Cali and Az is a lot better than other Mex. Restaurants in the area. If you haven’t yet, you should try it!

I decided to check this place out since it’s under new management and, wow! Delicious Mexican food from Arizona to Washington. I have gotten chilaquiles, tacos de pollo asado y tacos de tripa. If you come here, make sure to ask for their refried beans, you won’t be disappointed.
