Stopped in for some late lunch with a friend before heading home , had the shrimp platter, with hush puppies, fries and toast piled on in a to go . Hot and fresh crunchy shrimp have great flavor and are fresh . I will definitely stop by again.

It’s not very good today, I had a cup of gumbo it was tasty not much meat or seafood in it, I did see crabmeat though. I did not like the potato salad, it tasted awful like store bought more than likely it was. Had a shrimp plate you get a bunch of small shrimp that were not very tasty. I had to go with fries, blahhh. Anyway I asked for lemon the girl gave me one piece I asked for another and finally one more, very stingy. The packets of ketchup and tartar are yucky.

Po-boy was okay if you like roast beef with a cold slice of Swiss cheese on top. Onion rings are the commercial frozen onion rings. I was shocked that was served in the greater New Orleans area. Won’t be back.

Stopped in for a togo plate to avoid cooking dinner. Decided to get the seafood platter for $22 ($24.02 tax). It’s definitely ALOT of food. Everything was cooked to order. The fries are crinkle fried and really good. The hushpuppies are amazing. The shrimp is really good. Wish I had just gotten a shrimp po’boy. I asked for the oysters to be fried hard, which they were but the inside was still soft. I did not like the oysters and the fish, mainly because of the batter they used. It has a lemon taste to it but it tastes more like that concentrated lemon juice versus fresh lemon. I tried pulling the batter off but the fish and oysters but there was no hope for the oysters but i was able to eat the fish once i pulled the batter off. Thats just my personal preference. One thing I can say, being a fisher woman myself, THEY DEFINITELY SERVE REAL CATFISH AND NOT THAT SWAI stuff. Won’t say I will not go back, I just won’t order fish and oysters. The lady behind the counter was very friendly but I can’t say the same about the guys behind the counter. They didn’t talk to me personally but didn’t seem to friendly either. Maybe it’s just me. Anyhow, give them a try, maybe you’ll like them.

Very unfortunate used to love the roast beef PoBoys but today, meat was old probably refrigerated, bread has been changed from original used before. I visit family in Kenner I live in Houston area now, but I probably won’t return since ownership changed.

Called in to order a shrimp po boy, but modified it to make it a shrimp blt by adding bacon. Jumped in the car and received a call that they would not fulfill the order unless I provided payment over the phone or I could come pay and wait. I never give my card information over the phone. Manos and Koz food is way better any way; they just are closer.

10 inch ham n Swiss very little lettuce and not even a slice of tomato. Bits of an end of tomato. Can’t cost much to add tomato. On day old bread.

I was not happy with my experience here. There are too many signs telling customers what they can or cannot do which makes it seem uninviting. I ordered one if the daily specials which was Italian sausage with pasta and red sauce. The pasta and sauce was marginal at best but the Italian sausage was not good at all. It tasted like it had spoiled. I stopped eating it and left immediately. I won’t be going back
