$25 for beans and rice. I was going to write a lengthy review detailing the horrors of this place, but just know that their feijoada (Brasilian beans and rice), which should run around $2.50 and is a very small portion, costs $25. What a joke. Oh yeah, and there was an American flag draped over a table with the edges all over the floor. I’m no wacky patriot, and I know it’s just a symbolic piece of cloth, but even I have enough class and sense to not allow my flags to mop up the floor of a bar. There is so much more to talk about, but you get the idea. This place is a completely disorganized, overpriced mess.

Service was atrocious. I deliberately didn’t tip for one of the 2 transactions I had that night and I wrote the reasons on the merchant receipt. For the second purchase transaction I had, I tipped 25% to a different bartender. A few days later, I discovered on my online banking that they had stolen money by adding 25% tip for the first transaction which I had never approved. That is called theft.

New owners took over a cowboy bar and are struggling to make a go of it (low budget means it still looks like a cowboy bar). The emphasis is on the food (which seems quite authentic) and Brazilian Portuguese is spoken here, service is rookie-level but they seem quite earnest. Throw them some business, people!

Worst service you can have in a restaurant, we ordered appetizers that never arrived, we had to ask for water at least 3 times and in the end they added the tip to the total price without even asking. Do not waste your time! It’s not really worth it! Brazilians need to understand that what counts most here is service!
