It’s very clean inside with a simple layout, the menu is easy to read the employees are very nice. The food was ordered quickly and received very quickly. My daughter loves her orange chicken and the beef and broccoli are delicious. Would recommend it if you are at the hospital or anywhere near and want food quick. For both plates and two drinks, it was 40ish dollars.

I love very spicy chicken teriyaki, but most of the time it ends up less spicy then I hope. This one was perfect. Will definitely be back for more of the same.

Tucked into a small corner next to a gas station, Mimi Teriyaki is rather unassuming at first glace. This hole-in-the-wall spot couldn’t be more of a gem however. The love and care (and good food) easily makes this place stand out and betray any assumptions you’ve had before entering. The place is clean, walls decorated with a minimalistic mural of Japanese Pop Culture, and the variety of food is expansive, though doesn’t flow off theme. I ordered a Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice and my Dad ordered a Beef Short Rib plate. The portions served were HUGE and high quality. The beef short rib was perfectly savory, and the chicken teriyaki had a wonderful balance of mild sweet and spice. (I’m a personal hater of sickly syrup-sweet teriyaki, so this was some high quality stuff.) The fried rice paired well with the rest of the food and everything was served fresh and piping hot, and a side salad with a mild dressing wrapped everything together. Such a wonderful place that I hope blossoms in business in the future, the lady behind the counter could have been more friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some classic “Washington Teriyaki.” Vegitarian friendly as well. <3

I’ve been there twice so far. The first time I had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice… the second time, I had the teriyaki chicken & beef (was so tender) combo with fried rice & also a bacon cheeseburger… both times, I got a sample of the fried chicken. It was so good. I plan to get that on my third visit & more beef teriyaki.

The combo fried rice I ordered tasted way off. For what it was it was way too overpriced as well. Great service though!

There just aren’t words, but I am going to try. I was nearby and made a point of stopping by one afternoon. The moment I opened the door I was greeted by the most delicious chorus of smells.
