We got the white queso and I loved it but my husband thought it was kind of bland so he added salsa to it. I had the Mexican shrimp cocktail. It was huge and delicious. It had lots of shrimp and avocados in it. My husband had a burrito and he liked it.

We did Don Chuy’s for a late lunch, it was not that busy but still you could tell they are all about service. They took our drink orders and returned with them really fast. We had the chips and salsa and the chips were warm and crisp, the salsa, I thought was good. Just enough heat to make it interesting but not set you on fire, anyone else might think their salsa tame but I’m not a fan of super spicey foods. I ordered the lunch fajitas and they were very good. The chicken and beef were both very tender and flavorful. Our server returned to the table more than once, like I said they are all about service. As first impressions go, this one was very positive.

Went there after LaTech graduation today. Horrible experience! We had a table of 22. Arrived around noon. Two servers & other staff in restaurant. It took 2.5 hours to get our food after complaining to the manager. Manager did not check on the table nor send anyone to assist the server. Other tables arrived & were served before we were.

The food was pretty good but I couldn’t get past the smell of fabuloso and dirty rag. It was so strong smelling, I couldn’t enjoy my food. I don’t know what’s wrong with using soap and water and bleach instead of strong perfumed cleaners that don’t disinfect. I’ve read how several people enjoyed the throw-back music. I wish that would have been playing today. A mexican station was playing on satellite radio which is fine because it’s a mexican restaurant but it was just too loud for me.

First time eating here. Food was great but the service was horrible. Every table around us had wonderful service, waiter was with them every 5 minutes. We had to wave our waiter down and even then he wouldn’t just ignore us. Our waiter didn’t ask us how our food was, tried to avoid us the best he could. We had to get up and get our own napkins from the bar bc we didn’t get brought extra napkins even after asking!

I reserve 5 stars because of places like this. Everything was on point today. I love 80s pop music which was on which was the cherry on top. The quality of ingredients were outstanding. I haven’t had a piece of flank steak like that in years. The staff was attentive and courteous. I hope it is this good next time I pass through…months later I was able to go back and still great.

Enjoyed the flashback 80’s music. Excellent service. My lunch chicken fajitas were cooked perfectly & the right amount for cost (juicy meat and well cooked veggies). Beans were fairly plain and a little too thin for me. Guacamole was good. Queso blanco was thick and tasty. House margs were a nice citrus blend. Didn’t make it to dessert. Prices a little higher than other local TexMex joints here. Lots of options (even vegetarian).

How does this place have 4 stars? The service is horrible and the food is ok. From missed orders, incorrect orders, warm food, over an hour wait time, show confused servers, having to chase down our server, explain multiple times to our server, not one water refill, etc. We watched almost an entire table of 20 people walk out after waiting for their food. Should’ve taken that as a warning! A few times they tried to bring us someone else’s food. We watched as they tried to figure out where an entire table of food needed to go, leaving the food to sit out and get cold before they figured it out. Gratuity was included and I wanted to fight it, but I chose to not act up.
