I hadn’t been to a Golden Corral in about 10+ years. I used to go a lot when I was a kid. We went on a Saturday around 2:30pm. It was fairly busy, but we didn’t have to wait to get in or be seated.

This was my first time ever going to Golden Corral. I’ve heard very mixed reviews on this location, but this is the closest to me & I wanted to try it. Overall, not terrible but I definitely won’t be going back to this location. Maybe not even go back at all, or least for a while.

We haven’t been to a Golden Corral in years, the staff could have done a better job keeping up on the food, seemed like they were always behind keeping the buffets full. All in all it was good for a buffet.

Drove 45 mins to get here because I was so excited to find a Golden Corral still in business and we Went here right at open 11 am on a Friday and the food was so dried out and old. Me and my girlfriend tired multiple different foods and everything we tried was not good at all. The best thing were the gummy bears on the desert bar. (they are probably from a package) I will not be returning here and I do not recommend it to anyone. Staff was rude and our waitress never said hello to us, but she could say hello to the family sitting next to us. Not a good atmosphere. Beware of this place I am hoping I don’t get food poisoning from how bad and old the food was.

Usually, when I’ve went to Golden Corral, the food would have a massive selection and always replenished in a timely manner. The servers would be out cleaning consistently. On this particular evening, Wednesday, the food was really basic and not too hot. The selection was limited and the cleanness was very surprising.

Perfect place to spend with family and friends not to mention affordable. The steak was cooked to perfection! They don’t take reservations during the weekend however, the restaurant manager Jim was able to accommodate by reserving their private room for our group which consisted of 25 people. We had (4) people celebrating milestone birthdays and Daphne our server even helped take family photos which is forever a memorable keepsake. Thank you Jim and to all kind and caring staff, we highly recommend having your family get together here at the maple grove Golden Corral.

Amazing mashed potatoes. Great selection and a lot of dessert options. It was not extremely busy but there was a lot of garbage on the floor and would have been nicer if they kept up with it a bit more. It would have been helpful if they had directed us more where drinks were or plates as we had to find them on our own.

It’s a buffet, so things will be a hit or miss. The muffins were really dry and hard (overcooked) but tasted okay with butter. The iced tea container was uncovered, and there were several flies around the drinks area. My husband had to go and ask a worker to help us at the register when we first arrived. We stood there and waited because the sign said to pay before eating. I guess the person was taking a break. The wait staff was very good and happily cleaned the dishes along with stocking the clean dishes and cups while also greeting people and wiping down surfaces. She was busy!! Foods were hot, so that’s a plus. I think we’ll go back. The steak was very good, and I was able to get my piece very rare. Lightly seasoned, also.

I have been here several times I should have known better not to come on a Sunday afternoon!! It was packed ,line out the door!! They were out of plates they didn’t have spoons!! It was loud!! The food was ok but had to wait for certain things that they ran out of!! Not a great experience this time!!
