First time visit. We were staying at Surfside beach. We chose this spot because we saw all the local cops hanging out there. The tacos are big. We would come back here again the next time we go to Surfside.

Definitely a nice local establishment. Tasted and looked like everything is made from scratch. We showed up around 1030 and by 1045 there was a line to the door. I had a breakfast plate with a tortilla and fajita steak and the wife had the street tacos. I think her choice was better. My tortilla was crispy and crunchy. I would definitely go back and if you haven’t tried it you should give it a try.

This place never is a disappointment!! The staff there are very professional and helpful and food is always fresh and delicious!!! With the door in almost constant movement they have a lot of business and I completely understand why… Almost every weekend my boyfriend and I go to breakfast at Downton Taco :-p… I highly recommend this place with a good atmosphere and friendly faces…

The food is really really good. Honestly one of my favorite places to eat The only issue is that any time I order a burrito to go they either forget something that I’ve paid extra for or I have to remind them to not forget to put it on there. I have brought it to their attention several times it just seems the kitchen staff can’t seem to get the order right even when you can see the items and my reminder on the ticket. Hoping that feedback will possibly help management explain to their staff the importance of getting orders correct.

I got the carne guisada taco which was tasty and had a savory flavor with a great combination of spices. I loved the potatoes and meat in the taco. Great price for the tacos and plenty filling as well.

After seeing other reviews on this place I see I’m not the only one dissatisfied with the food. Ordered sausage and egg taco. Was mostly egg could barely see any sausage. For almost $6.00 I won’t be back.
