This is the best Jamaican soul food restaurant you’ve never heard of. You don’t go in to sit down and eat and enjoy the atmosphere; you go in and experience the wonderful woman that is Laverne and her food. She’s the only person I’ve eaten Jamaican food from in the past year and she deserves to be recognized. If you’re in the area, drop by and tell her I sent you 🙂

Too many bones…in chopped jerk chicken. $8. For mostly rice. Tried again waited months later. Too many chopped bones a lot of rice $8. Stomach was bubbling too. Leave food sitting more than 2hrs. Serve people same food all day.

Great customer service. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Love the Ice Cream that is sold there- Stout is my favorite. Seafood Thursdays with Crab leg, corn and Shrimp is to die for. I had Tripe and Bean with Rice and Peas and home made fruit Juice today and I will be going back for more.

Food was really good. Nice clean restaurant good costumer service! I got the curry goat (I wanted oxtails but they ran out) and my boyfriend got the curry chicken. We still have half a plate or more left and we’re full! Deff recommend eating here
