I stopped in for breakfast on Mother’s Day, overall the food was decent. The catfish was well seasoned but didn’t taste fresh. It’s a buffet style where you select your meat + 2 sides and they make the plates for you. My total was about $20. It was a decent experience but I probably wouldn’t return.

I visit regularly and I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner from them. The winning combo here is the main Chef and customer service. I’m so pleased this location is in our neighborhood. I only had one bad experience to date and that was when a “substitute” cook was filling in for Chef. Consistency is key. Overall this is one of the best spots in our area.

This place was recommended to me because it was closer than the marketplace. First few experiences were decent but kept going downhill after each one. I ordered 2 orders of baked chicken, cabbage, and mac and cheese. They probably left it out too long because it was spoiled. Spent over $30 and tipped just for the food to go to waste. Check your food before you leave!

I was excited to try this new spot out, but that was short lived. I will say the customer service is excellent, no problems there! It’s the food. The food is just bland, lacking major flavor. I had the baked chicken, yams, green beans, and Mac and cheese. Yams were sweet and flavorful, sadly everything else just missed the mark. $3.95 for a side of Mac and Cheese that just LOOKS cheesy, just it was not cheesy and there was absolutely no flavor. Gosh! I wish I could say it was all good, but it just didn’t make the cut for me.

I’ve been here twice. Customer service has been good both times; however, the food is hit or miss. The 1st time we went when they first opened, the food was good and it was filling. The 2nd time, the food was bland and for $13 a plate, I was not full when I was done eating. I’m not sure if it was the server or their practice to give smaller portions now. If my last visit was the first, I’d def give lower than 3 starts and I wouldn’t go back.

Really good, fresh food. Especially glad at the large selection of vegetables. Green beans, black-eyed peas, cabbage, okra stew, sweet potatoes all very tasty and great texture (not frozen or canned)

Had an event next door and was full-on hangry when we left so we decided to give City Breakfast a try and BOY were we pleasantly surprised. You can feel the love in the food. We had teriyaki chicken over rice, green beans, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. I get like I was being welcomed at a deliciousssss family dinner. I wish we lived closer cause this would be our go-to restaurant ❤️
