Slapfish is very delicious! We each ordered the Clobster Grilled Cheese with Chowder fries, and we were floored by how good it was! It was filled with gooey cheese and big chunks of lobster with toasted buttery bread. The chowder fries is fries topped with chowder, sauce, and BACON!!! It was a great meal, but what really brought this meal together was the sauce that came with the sandwich. I think it’s ranch with Tabasco??? Whatever it was, it was incredible on everything. I would only say that it the price is a bit on the higher side, but the quality was outstanding! In addition, the lady taking our order was very hard to hear in the noisy environment, but we will definitely return for a visit!

Posted this after my second visit. Slapfish is 1 for 2 so far. First time around had the lobster taquitos which were absolutely amazing and probably some of the best taquitos I’ve eaten. On my second visit went with the fish n chips. Got a nice sized portion but quite pricey. The fish was overcooked so a bit dry. This is a big miss with such a staple item. Hopefully it was a bad day in the kitchen but that’s an item that you have to get right every time.

A coworker recommended I stop by so I did. The Chowder Fries were great! I enjoyed the flavors of the Lobster Taquitos however there was very little lobster in them. Also they use a flour tortilla instead of corn, so you didn’t get the usual sweetness of the corn tortilla. I will definitely be back as I want to try the Lobster Roll, and the Shrimp Roll!

Hip little seafood place that’s perfect for the Waterford Lakes area…The food is really good here, made fresh to order, and everything came out hot. The lobster roll for me is a little overpriced bc of the size of it so I probably wouldn’t order it again, but it was really good/fresh lobster and as far as taste goes it was perfect!… The restaurant looks really cool, is really clean and the staff were all cool. We stay in the area and will definitely be going back when its time for some urban seafood.

WOW! We’ve been looking for a seafood place since we got to Florida. So glad we found Slapfish. Excellent food with big portions to really feed you. Best whitefish I’ve ever had (Fish n Chips). Would absolutely go back again. Highly recommend this casual, friendly, tasty spot.

We went for the soft opening and we’re very impressed. I’m looking forward to going back and trying the fish tacos or the fish and chips. I personally really liked the fact the lobster roll has no celery in it. Also, they have a different kind of soda fountain which I was very impressed by the variety of flavors from cucumber to blood orange. The employees were swamped but all kept a smile on their faces. Overall my husband and I are very impressed. Keep up the great work and welcome to the neighborhood!

Everything was super fresh and delicious. The menu choices were really good. We got the poke bowl the fish was so fresh. The lobster roll was also delicious. The freshest greens in our salads also. The place was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly I highly recommend.
