We kept those beautiful doors, but have given the old pub new life. We are modern and chic. We are inviting and entertaining. I wanted to go somewhere and sit outside on a roof top, and the plaza was our destination. When we first checked out the online menu our initial thought was oh just bar food. But after further studies there was a bit more. My classic Irish dish of Fish n Chips was very tasty 2 nice size pieces of fish flaky and good with a bit too salty hand cut fries. My friend had never had Sheppard’s pie before he thought it was good with a big hardy portion. If you want a nice laid-back outing Sunday evens are good if more action is what you seek Fri and Sat night is more action.

I went to hear some local DJs perform, the rooftop atmosphere was great the music was fantastic. The whole evening was a blast. I heard someone say that every Friday night is like that. I can’t wait to go back. The only thing I think might improve the night was the volume of the music, when the music is that great you want to hear it loud.

Kitchen closes early so check before going. Food was really good though Service was spot on. Kind of trendy and changes to a night club atmosphere after 9? Music gets loud and mostly rap and dance mix stuff…wish there was more variety… but the people watching is good .

This place is trash. If you want to be treated like a common criminal, then this is your place. A friend and I were walking up the stairs to get a drink at the rooftop bar because the line down below was long. I had been up there earlier that same night for the same reason. Unbeknownst to us the rooftop bar had closed. There was no sign indicating such. Someone yelled at us (turned out to be a bouncer), so we turned around and he shined a very bright LED flashlight right in our eyes blinding us. I raised my left hand trying to block the light from blinding me and flipped him off with my right hand because he continued to shine the light in our eyes. Next thing, 3 bounces rushed at us, grabbed us, yelled at us, and told us they were kicking us out. I asked why and they said cause I flipped them off and that the upstairs was closed. I told them we didn’t know the upstairs was closed, it wasn’t marked as such, and I flipped them off cause they kept shinning the light directly in our eyes and it blinded us. Of course they didn’t apologize for blinding us with the light, and proceeded to kick us out, shoving us from behind as we voluntarily left.

It was a nice place that was open on a Sunday evening. The food was good. I had the fish & “chips” . The tartar sauce was amazing. My friend has the Shepard pie, which we both agreed could have had more potatoes. But it was good, we left full & our server was sweet. I would try this place again.

I joined my family on Saturday and went to the Plaza (my first time) After much shopping we had worked up an appetite, and decided to try O’Dowds. We chose to eat upstairs on the patio, and was pleasantly surprised. There was live music, the weather was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing. We started with Nachos and let me tell ya, absolutely devine! The presentation alone was mesmerizing. Their food was delicious. Our server, Kylie was kind, funny and a delight to talk to. We will definitely return.
