Carmines makes very good speciality pizza slices. I ordered a speciality slice with chicken, bacon, and ranch dressing on it, and it tasted pretty good. I also ordered a plain slice, which tasted just okay. The slices were pretty big compared to other establishments. I didn’t get to try any of the other menu items, though it appeared they had a good amount to choose from. Overall, it was a good, quick lunch for me and I would give this place my recommendation.

Love this place it’s clean and everytime I come to the park my kids point to this establishment and say mommy we love their pizza please get it and will not want no other pizzeria and the staff are so friendly and let me know if my food is taking time but definitely on point and the food omg is so good and fresh and I keep coming and won’t stop so it’s a must go

Came Friday evening for some slices. Sausage Pepperoni mushrooms pizza was delicious. Loved every bite of it. My son liked his cheese slice. Recommend if you are in neighborhood

I have ordered from carmines dozens on of times and food has almost always been great. For the first time we had an issue with the food. The cheese on their Margherita pizza tasted off and it was really heavy on the cheese. It’s also advertised as fresh mozzarella but is made with both fresh and shredded apparently. Regardless the taste was really off. There was also so much cheese AND it didnt taste good. Margherita usually is light on the cheese. I had barely had a little bit of one slice before I called to let them know something tasted bad. I offered to just bring it back and maybe get a refund and get something else (and pay for it). The person on the phone said that I couldn’t get a refund because I ate some of the food. That seems silly, how would a customer know soemthing was off unless they ate it first. Nd its not like i sat there and ate the whole pie before calling. Truly regret ordering directly from them on their website instead of grubhub or seamless who would have offered a refund for quality issues. This was a very disappointing experience after so many good ones. Customer service goes a long way, especially when I offered to literally bring it all back because it genuinely didn’t taste good AND still buy something else. She was calm and nice but offered no solution except that I come and buy myself something else and that they would do a quality check to make sure everything was okay. I didn’t want to give. Very low rating since generally pizza is on point here, but I’ll stay away for a while.

Wow this was so bad! Hadn’t been here in a while but Omg worst pizza in JC. How can this be called pizza, it was paper thin, dried crust, super greasy, what is going on? $22 plus tip not worth it when you have rustique and others doing a much better job

I would give them zero stars but unfortunately it is not possible. We ordered a simple margarita pizza, it was one hour late, cold and it tasted like biting a piece of raw garlic. So horrible. I also ordered a cheesecake and a chocolate cake but only the cheesecake arrived. Truly terrible service.

3rd time we ordered since Carmine’s sold out. 3 strikes you’re out. We order thin crust, crispy or well done. Again it came thin crust but not so crispy. Hardly an ounce of cheese on the whole pile and the sauce is out of a can. NO taste whatsoever , like eating cardboard with ketchup on it. WOW, tried to give then the benefit of the doubt because we always ordered from Carmines for as long as we have lived here…..and we try to support local. Well since they sold out the new owners are not pizzeria people. Will not ever order again……sorry it isn’t working out in our hood.

Came to Jersey from South Carolina. My sons name is Carmine so we had to check this place out. They didn’t let down. Best baked ziti I’ve ever had. The staff was awesome not just to us but to everyone. Pizza was super good as well. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

I had a food poisoning last night after ordering eggplant parm and Buffalo chicken wrap from this particular restaurant. After 40min into eating, I started having an excruciating pain on stomach and then I started throwing up for the rest of evening, while breaking a cold sweat. As a Christian I am not supposed to hold any grudge, but this was an absolutely terrible experience, thus I was compelled to share this terrible experience w future potential customers as I cannot stand any restaurant that prioritizes the bottom line of profits over safety of customers.

I always get their buffalo chicken wrap. I like that the side options are steamed broccoli , tomato cucumber salad , fries. It’s nice to have a place that has healthy sides.
