I love the fact that we always end up in some one off place in our travels. I’m not big at going to franchise restaurants, so I found this off the beaten path and we had quite the cute little drive by a lake to get here. The food the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the uniqueness were well worth it. And some amazing southern cooking. You will love this place. The prices are good I highly recommend.

This is a small BBQ restaurant located on the edge of Lake Linville. The food is average but at a fair price. Sitting on the back deck you can eat overlooking the lake and small marina. The indoor dining area is small and feels cramped. The service was fast and friendly. The waitresses were happy to offer their favorite menu items. After talking to some other customers, it seems to be a local favorite. Decorating the walls are some autographed pictures of a few country music singers who have also enjoyed their visit. Overall not a bad place to dine. Plan on spending $25-$30 for two people.

The food was awesome. The meat had a good smoky flavor and was tender. It was cooked to perfection. The ribs may have been the best part of it all. They are the best ribs I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant.The chicken tenders were great too. And finally let’s talk about the bbq sauce! It was sweet and delicious.

I loved this place. It’s on the lake so you can sit on the patio and watch for birds, including eagles, which live nearby. The dining area is casual and the servers were friendly. I really enjoyed my pulled pork and had their home made “tater salad” and baked beans. All was great. I also tried the banana pudding which was also very good. Certainly worth the little detour drive by Renfro Valley.

My own ribs are 109% better than these. These are cooked then brush with a sauce. No sign of dry rub. And the chicken well it just looked weird color, and it was dry. Beans are good but otherwise it’s a PASS!

Awesome place, great food, tentative and friendly staff. It’s a bit out of the way, well worth the drive and you will not leave hungry nor will you break the bank! Next time in Renfro Valley I will be back. Thanks for the great meals!

Fantastic!!! Great out of the way lakeside setting. Wonderful service. The food is really good. Friday Fish special is great. Good portions. BBQ ribs are wonderful. Side dishes taste great. This is our new favorite local diner.

My husband and I are from SC and I looked up some restaurants in the vicinity with great reviews. We wanted to try some southern food. I found this place and it was wonderful! Great service and food! You have Lake Linville for a beautiful view outside. The owner was so kind and helped us chose our food. She even gave us some extra food to try. Some of the best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted and they homemade it! The food truly tasted homemade. Thank you so much for making our experience great! We will definitely be returning.
