The definition of a mixed bag, but unfortunately I lean towards do not recommend. Staff is friendly, and the mac and cheese was particularly good – gooey, hearty, and overall very delicious.

It’s a nice place, but the food is a little lacking. Service was great and the staff are friendly, but everything my party ordered was bland. Soups, burgers, etc. One cool thing is all the metal mugs hanging from the ceiling. A cool place but unfortunately not a first choice in Wolfeboro.

This is probably the worst dining experience in town. All the appetizers weren’t fresh, frozen calamari and onion rings, 5 pieces of chewy asparagus covered in grease. Unfortunately no flavor, seasoning whatsoever. The BLT with “Pork Belly” ( listed on the menu) are literally 3 thin slices of standard bacon, the pasta was overcooked ( it would break, the second you try to fork it ) and the burgers were maybe a little below standard, except that the pulled pork was burned. The Happy Hour gives you 2 dollars off drinks. Our waitress tried very hard and was super friendly but not really trained. Overall, we are not coming back. We really want to support our local businesses in town but if you are seeking for a good dining experience with the family then better avoid the tavern.

Excellent place to dine! I ordered the Grilled Bourbon Steak Tips, and it was very delectable. I absolutely enjoyed eating these tender steak tips dipped in a barbecue sauce and served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The waitress was also very friendly, service was quick, and I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. I’d absolutely recommend dining here.

Bad vibes from the moment we walked in. Food was bland and burnt. Service was lacking but I feel it is due to a Skelton crew. Go anywhere else in town until management decides to run a decent restaurant.

Very good vibes here. The bartenders and serving staff are really nice and down to earth. Theyve got hundreds of metal mugs hanging from the ceiling that were earned in the 100 beer club. Definitely worth stopping in for a pint.

The day Manager, Randy was our Bartender and Server. Smiling, chatting , polite and helpful with a lot of information about our questions on the Inn’s History, the town of Wolfboro and things to do and see.

Reliable but not often inspired. WT used to have the best burgers in town, but sadly, no more. Last time I went the burgers were “smashed”, whatever that means. Uninteresting…

I have loved this place for years. Sadly it is not in the same state it was pre-Covid. Hoping they rebuild and start opening on Sundays and doing Sunday brunch again. It was always amazing!
