I always say the best food you can find is usually at a bar, and JB Malone’s just confirms that opinion. Located in the small town of Salem Missouri. I was looking for a Sandwich after going to buy fishing supplies and saw this by the side of the road. I was starving and needed a Sandwich and a beer and boy Did I find a good one! I had the Reuben Sandwich and I learned that they do their own corn beef. At site it was perfect. I can tell that it was made correctly. And then they grilled it on the flat top. With some great cheese and sauerkraut on a wonderfully toasted and buttered piece of bread.. And don’t get me started on the French fries. They are battered and came out perfectly crispy and hot. The bartender was so helpful. And I will be back tomorrow to get the other suggestion. Which was a breaded port tenderloin Sandwich. Yum yum, I can’t wait. So I came back for the pork tenderloin Sandwich

The food is excellent. The service is excellent. We had fried green tomatoes BLT, a club sandwich, steamed veggies, and baked sweet potato. Everything tasted great. They have live music but we didn’t stay late enough to listen. Definitely a place I would come back to!

Stopped by for something to take home on our late evening drive home from a camping weekend. Order was ready quick, everything was in the bag. Food was absolutely delicious!! My boys got burgers that were huge for the price. I got a catfish wrap and pickle fries. Everything tasted so good – if we lived close this would be our new favorite place!! The server was super sweet as well.

Food was good and service was great! We stopped in on our way through Salem. Our server/bartender working that night made a great Mojito and they are not the easiest drinks to make. This place made the cut and we will definitely go back when we go through the area again!

First visit here and it was pretty good. My husband got a patty melt which was delicious and we got some fried appetizers. We We on our way somewhere so we didn’t try any cocktails but they seem to have a good selection of liquor and beer. I’ll have to try a few more items before I can really say but so far we like the place and will definitely stop in again. My daughter says their French fries are top notch. She’s a connoissewer of fine french fries so I would definitely take her word for it.

The food is very good for the price charged. I have been a few times and it has been consistent and properly prepared. The servers are very friendly and attentive. It’s a country bar style location. For that type, it’s a good atmosphere. I have no issues taking clients there for lunch. I don’t sit too close to the stage though. It’s a little loud for clients that close. The rest is fine. My favorite in Salem.

Baked potatoes and salad were good but if your looking for a good steak this is not the place for you. Took 2 small bites of my steak it tasted reheated and was barely warm through the middle. Medium well should have had a little pink and hot but the entire steak was just barely warm. Worst experience ever.1st and last time going
