First time in this place, and everything impressed me to the point where I bought merch from the store (which I had never been in a restaurant before). Anyway, food is on point, I don’t mean that lightly. I lived in Japan for 8 years while serving in the military. This palce have it, the food presentation, the ambiance and most important of all their food is as fresh as they should be. Highly recommend it to anyone who craves authentic Japanese food.

A must do for sushi fans if you are in Port Townsend. Great service from really nice people. The tempura onion rings are the best I have ever had, no contest. The sushi is fresh and tasty but don’t miss the steak and pork tenderloin options either. Nothing but good things to say about Ichikawa.

Beautiful sushi bar. They were so kind. I had the chefs choice of sashimi over sushi rice and gyoza. Was absolutely delicious and fresh. Very impressed. 100% will come back next time I’m in town.

Rude owner. Took ferry over just to try this sushi was told to hurry up and order. Spent 70$ on 1 roll and 2 pieces of tuna. I was asked for a tip. The man that had to go to the bank I am guessing the owner was a rude old white man. Won’t be back for their below average sushi and awful service.

It was tasty. However i don’t know how to describe it, other then it just doesn’t seem like any of the rolls have a “finishing touch”, or “wasn’t made with love”. I had a salmon roll, very tasty however the rice was super warm, and way to much caviar. But a beautiful location and maybe it was just really warm in port Townsend that day.
