Woohoo!! The Busaba opened in Erie! We’ve been going to the Louisville one since they opened years ago and love it, but we live in Erie. So glad they opened one here! Went today and the server Toby was so polite and attentive. He had such a positive attitude that it made our day. Would highly highly recommend Busaba. Definitely some of the best Thai food we’ve had, and we’ve been to Thailand itself a LOT!

We were excited to try Busaba in the space where InJoy used to be. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back. And it was all due to the incredibly poor service. Our server gave us a drink and then disappeared for a FULL HOUR. We had to find a bartender to get any sort of service and try to have him hunt down our server. The bartender was also the manager, and he tried to be very helpful. The problem really began when the server eventually came to our table to yell at us, and told us that it was busy because it was a Sunday night, and we were sitting facing the “wrong” direction in our seats so she couldn’t see us (yet she had served us a drink when we arrived)?? I have never been yelled at by a server in my life. My husband and I eat out on average 3x/week, and we’ve never had such terrible service. The manager admitted that our order had been in the queue for a full hour, and he brought it out to us to take to go. What a terrible experience. On the positive side, when we finally got to eat this food at home, it did taste pretty good. Unfortunately, ambiance and service is everything to me, and this server gave us such a bad taste in our mouths, so we won’t be back.

Everything was excellent! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming and the food is top notch. Very flavorful and fresh. The servers were on it and made sure we had everything we needed. So happy there is a Busaba in Erie now!
