I used to love to eat at Carl’s Jr…..when I was in junior high. I liked the food then. Now? It’s really not that good. Maybe I’m old fashioned but, Carl’s Jr. has seen better days. I’ve aged better then they have.

I’m a little surprised this place is isn’t packed. I try out fast food from time to time all up and down the mid Peninsula and this is by far been the best. I guess due to the fact that it’s not very busy here, the place is spotless, including the restrooms. The food is made carefully and impeccably, and the staff is super friendly and we had a nice little chat while we were waiting for the food. I hope they’re busier or I was just here on a down day because I hate to see this please close. I’m hard to please and this place shocked me. Anybody that owns fast food in the region should come and take a look and see how it should be done.

Carl’s Jr might win the dubious award for the worst food in California! If you have even a vague interest in dietary requirements, their menu reads like a nuclear waste site of dietary disaster. The only reasonable item I could find was the grilled chicken salad. This half-hearted attempt at healthy food was a pile of iceberg lettuce, scoop of grated cheese, two tomato slices, two red onion slices and a dried out overcooked chicken breast. I threw most of it away. Might as well just give up and get the Bacon Western Cheeseburger, it will kill you in the end, but at least it tastes good. If it matters, the restaurant was clean, the employees were helpful and there was a nice outdoor seating area and a large play place.

I ordered my kids This old disgusting food you can zoom in to the pictures I was so upset I didn’t even take pictures of the hard rock fries! If I could Rate zero stars I would. I told the manager and he said no we don’t serve old food but he wanted to replace it never again will I visit Carl’s Jr. in Redwood City again….
