We LOVED everything about Kimball Inn Restaurant!!! Our server, Katie, was amazing!!! The 20 oz bone-in rib eye was spectacular!!!! Shelly is an incredible host!!! It was so nice to see everyone here work together and welcome all of their regulars by name and even made us travelers feel like family!!!!! Wish we lived closer!!!!!!

I was staying in Ironwood, MI for business (just across the Wisconsin border) and my first night there I had a bad dining experience in town and wanted to try something elsewhere. This place popped up with a high rating on Google and was a short distance away so I gave it a try. Im so glad I did! I cannot believe the quality of seafood they had and the other food was top notch as well. They were incredibly busy Friday night and I had to be seated at the bar which was no problem because I was still helped in a timely manner and the food was just fantastic and fresh and also plentiful for the price. That, and Shelly the bartender was so nice that I decided to come back the next night as well, and she and the food were just as great as the night before. Great specials menu (and regular menu!) and stiff drinks to boot. I wish I had known about the boozy milkshakes they offer the first night I came in and that is my only complaint. Come early if it’s a weekend or you’ll have a wait! Very grateful that this was my first experience in Wisconsin, couldn’t recommend more.

What a great hidden jem in the north woods of Wisconsin. Their menu is impressive and they have a wide variety to accommodate any diet. The staff was great. They knew the menu and were helpful in navigating it for vegan options. The food was phenomenal. I had a delicious tofu and veggies; my dining partners had duck wings, seafood chowder, Friday fish fry and a mushroom garlic chicken with Mac and cheese. It was all amazing! I’m highly recommend and would go back!

Everything was amazing! The calamari was so good I contemplated ordering a second. The chopped steak burger was cooked perfectly a 1/2 pound of greatness. The service was phenomenal as well. The bartender was attentive despite being extremely busy and my server Katie was happy, friendly and has amazing customer service skills. Definitely will be back again.

Nice hidden little gem just on the other side of the Michigan border, in Wisconsin. Food was phenomenal. Service was exquisite. Fast and friendly service. Got the garlic whitefish, and it was delicious. Fresh caught out of Lake Surperior. If you’re in the area, this is a must hit place.
