I drove 45 minutes just to taste the most authentic Sicilian food in New Jersey. Family owned restaurant in Garfield. Food is 10/10 simply amazing gastronomic experience. My overall rating is not a 5 because they need to improve their server system. You get different servers that attend to you that gets messy with larger groups.

Yesterday, on March 15, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Restaurant Pizzeria in Garfield, New Jersey. The seafood platter was a delightful highlight of our meal, featuring tasty tiger shrimp, perfectly grilled calamari, and an outstanding Branzino fish. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our dining experience, and as seafood enthusiasts, we highly recommend it.

BYOB Sicilian food restaurant by Sicilian’s. The food and service were top notch. Although busy, many servers came by and many talked to us. This is a family restaurant with loud and numerous conversations. Got the meatball and Cesar salad as appetizers. There were four meatballs in a delicious marina sauce as must have! For dinner we had a special spaghetti with sea urchin and Napoli pizza. The Napoli pizza had anchovies that were not too salty. Finally, for desert we had homemade tiramisu which was so good!

Favorite restaurant! Everything is great from the rice balls to the zeppolis, and the service is even better. Maria is a doll, we love this place and would recommend every time for authentic Italian. Don’t even get me started on the Gnocci – to die for.

Wow. Honestly this place exceeded my expectations. The waitress Maria was phenomenal and made us feel like we were at Sunday dinner with family! The food was amazing. We had the octopus which was our favorite. Calabrese pizza. Chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. Pappardelle with sausage, mushrooms, Parmesan, truffle oil & cream. Everything was delicious. They earned two regular customers! Five stars.

Went with friends for the 1st time and absolutely loved it. Needless to say it’s our go to restaurant now. It’s a BYOB, small intimate place, recommend making reservations. The only complaint I have is that it’s hot inside, the air conditioning is on but only have 1 unit…maybe consider getting another one. Would definitely recommend!

Very good food and portions are quite large. Salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe was absolutely delicious. They also serve warm bread and butter as a starter. Service was very good. There is plenty seating tables inside and also extra seating outside under the pergola and it looks very charming.

Placed an order, asked if I could use the coupons that came with the menu that was sent in the mail and was told they stopped using the coupons months ago. There is no expiration date on the coupons. Was told that the total was $65 but when added it all up from the menu it should have been about $45. We called and they told us that our salad was $18 (the menu says $13). Even if it was $18 it still wouldn’t have added to $65 for 3 item. It’s not about the actual amount of cash, it’s about the false advertising and when we called about it nothing was solved. Felt like scam. Food was good, but not enough to order from again.
