Not at all what we were expecting, especially for the cost of the food. New York and Tenderloin were grainy and dry. Onions had no taste and mushy. Potatoes were cold. Ordered a 2nd beer never got it so nothing to drink while eating but got charged, they took it off though. Server was not that good took forever for him to come back to table and to fix the bill. Not thinking we will go back.

This restaurant is such a hidden gem! We had delicious and very tender ribs! Our server took great care of us! The terrace is very charming! Feels like you’re enjoying dinner in the woods! The free bug spray is a bonus too 🙂 We can 100% recommend this place and would come again!

The place is wonderful. Silence. Coniferous air. Nice atmosphere. Good service. There is one big problem… tasteless meat. Ordered ribs and steak. Dry. Not juicy. Although behind me the waiter asked the woman how you like the ribs, she said wonderful. Probably there are no comrades for the taste and color. I wrote a review honestly.

We want to give a huge thanks to Emma our server last night. We sat outside with the beautiful view of the wood under a canopy. Then it started to rain. She was totally willing to run in and out in the rain.

Awesome. Clean salad bar with 2 excellent soups! We had pasta & perch. Little pricey perch, but the salad bar was an added bonus. Good bar drinks. The topper is the location, ambience & the fabulous employees! The 3 guys last night conversed with us it was fantastic. Hats off to a great visit!!!

We stopped in for dinner. I would recommend a reservation. They have a excellent soup and salad bar. Wonderful stuffed mushrooms that we ate before I could take photo. Scallops were delicious, so was NY strip

It was a very nice quaint little place super friendly staff! Quick service! Every meal came with a soup and salad bar, the salad bar was outstanding too! Reminding me of a salad bar back in the day. We felt like seafood that night I had the deep fried perch, with a loaded baked potato it was great just like I’d expect from a Wisconsin club. My wife had the bacon wrapped scallops with loaded mashed potatoes, that was also very good! Nice big scallops and thick bacon! I definitely want to go back and try the steaks next time.

Decided on Rubbs to celebrate our anniversary. Coincidentally, we found out it’s the restaurant’s anniversary too! Thank you for the amazing meal, excellent service, super soup/salad bar, fresh, clean, ambiance, music and a free anniversary dessert?!? Will definitely be back to this hidden gem. Make reservations if visiting during busy dinner hours. Love the nature surrounding the restaurant too! So good!

Terrible place. Both soups on the salad bar were burnt. The calamari smelled VERY fishy and was chewy. I ordered a medium rare prime rib, it came out well done and tasted awful. This place smells awful, service, when there is service, is terrible. Don’t waste your time or money.
