I had a taste for a gyro & have passed this place numerous times. So I decided to give them a try. I went in about 40mins before closing. There was a gentleman in the dining room sweeping the floor & as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. He immediately stopped what he was doing, went behind the counter & proceeded to take my order. I got the gyro combo with Greek fries & a can of soda for $13. The place was very clean & the man who took my order was cool. We chatted for a minute or two, while I waited for my food. I did not feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience since I came in so close to closing time. The food I received was fresh & big enough to share! I also really enjoyed the green onions on top of the Greek fries! It gave it a nice pop of color & a unique twist to the popular side. I will definitely be back!!

We just moved to Munster and tried this place for the first time because hubby was craving for gyros. We ordered Philly steak with fries, 4 chicken wings with fries for our son and gyro with fries. We think the price is reasonable until we got our order. Fries is good, it was crunchy and seasoned well. Not oily. The the rest of the food we ordered are ok. Nothing special. I bought rice on the side because my son wants to eat it with his chicken and it costs $5 for a small container. No joke! I asked the lady if its the same as what they had in the photo and it was not. I was expecting it to be more than what we got. It’s not even good. It’s no ambrosia, just regular rice. I should have just ordered a bowl and added $5 more because its not worth it at all. Not sure if we will be back to this place. We felt like we were ripped off.

This place advertises a sandwich called a gym shoe. A sandwich with gyro meat, Italian beef meat and corned beef meat. Also with hot peppers. The picture looks appetizing. I have had the gym shoe sandwich at other restaurants and it is a good sandwich. I ordered the sandwich here only to get home to a sandwich with gyro meat and crumbled up pieces of another kind of meat. I returned the sandwich and explained that I may had been given the wrong sandwich. The cook/ cashier/ manager apologized and made me another sandwich. Silly me, I didn’t check the second sandwich so now when I get home I have a sandwich with gyro meat , crumbles of weird meat, lettuce and tomato. I take the sandwich back again but I asked if they even make the sandwich on the picture because I keep getting sandwiches with no corned beef or Italian beef. Instead of him telling me that they don’t make that sandwich, he instantly got angry and went into the cash drawer and gave me my money back. He actually slammed the money on the counter and then slammed the cash drawer back. Change went flying everywhere. I didn’t ask for a refund, I really wanted that sandwich. Now I’m embarrassed because there were other guest in the restaurant.

Me and my husband ordered the chicken kabob and a Greek quesadilla both were amazing! They came with Greek fries which were also delicious! The sauce on the fries and quesadilla is different in a good way! Kinda garlicky and a little sweet so good! We’ll definitely be back soon!!!!!

Omg thos place was so amazing from the customer service to the delicious food. I drove all the way from east chicago to try this food that i was told would be delicious and i was not disappointed. It is so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and so much friendly energy. I decided to try a little of everything and it was amazing. I will definitely be back.

I went in to purchase a gyro and two fries. The employees gave away the “last of the fries” to TWO customers that walked in and placed their orders AFTER me. It wasn’t like I had a big order so I don’t understand why I wasn’t able to receive what I paid for. And I can’t help but feel this was race related considering both customers behind me were Caucasian. OR they really didn’t know they were low on fry’s when they dropped them in the grease? OR they don’t know how to prioritize orders?

First time trying Athens Pita today. Based on reviews I had high hopes. My coworkers food was great they got Gyro wraps, and at first bite my philly sw was amazing and then when I took my third bite I noticed the bread had a spot on the side, I flipped it over and the bottom of the bun was covered with spots of green mold. Never eating from here again.
