This was a nice quiet place. It wasn’t too crowded when we went but apparently it can get busy. My food was good and the service was good too. The chips and their salsa was good and they kept the chips coming. This is important to me because I eat a lot of chips and fast.

My brother offered a birthday dinner and I chose Tejas Cafe. It was excellent! The menu offers different options than many others. The service was good, and the food was very good. I will definitely return to explore the menu.

Good menu with many options. Green sauce is unique and is a mild blended sauce. Food was hot and plentiful. TexMex style and not as spicy. Was busy during dinner rush and service was a bit disjointed.

Came for the $2 soft tacos and caso with chips, someone paid for my meal because they must have saw the Veterans cap I was wearing so before I left I paid it forward for a couple that was ready to pay and leave… That’s what we do, this is the real America, it is a thank you to the unknown patrons who care. I like Tejas, good folks, good food….

Tejas has some of the best food around. The green sauce and hot sauce is amazing. Their tortillas are not good but that’s something I can over look because their fajitas are outstanding. Their taco spud is something that cannot be described other than superb. And the Carne Asada is so good, I keep coming back for it. By the way, the soup served with the carne asada dinner is way too hot. But other than that I do not have any complaints.

Normaly the food here is amazing. Tonight it was absolutely terrible. Our plates were sent back twice to reheat. Beans and rice were not hot at all. I stuck my finger directly into the beans to prove my point to the waitress. She said they would remake them. When they brought the plates back, they hadn’t been remade, my finger print was still in the beans. When I asked to speak to the manager, I told her what had happened. She did NOT one time apologize or try to make things right. Only when I told her I should not be charged for my meal because I didn’t eat it did she begrudgingly take it off our bill. We paid for my husband’s meal because he ate about half of it. Queso was not good either. The waitress apologized many times and was very attentive. We left her a very good tip. I really hate that this happened because it was one of our favorite places to eat. I will say the hot sauce and green sauce was delicious. However, I don’t think we will visit again for a while.
