We’ve had takeout a few times, but in-house dining is better. Good food, generous portions, great service. The robots are a gimmick, but fun. I had a platter of chicken parm and manicotti that was enough food for 3 meals. I forgot to ask for my salad with dressing on the side and was delighted to get a salad with just enough dressing rather than drowning that many places serve.

I had a truly frustrating encounter with this restaurant. I reached out to make a reservation for a party of 20 people on a Saturday at 7 pm, but they surprisingly declined, even though they had plenty of available space and more than enough time to prepare. It was disheartening to see that they showed no interest in accommodating our group. As a result, they have lost a valuable client. If you’re looking for a place that values their customers and has ample space and time for reservations, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I absolutely love the service and atmosphere, but the food other than pizza wasn’t the Italian food I am used to. However, grilled salmon tasted fine, and salad had a nice dressing on it. The tortellini was good but the marinara sauce and Alfredo did not taste fresh enough for me.

I know this may sound odd in the greater Boston area , but we’ve been trying to find a good family Italian restaurant for 15 years and we finally found it!! Everything we had was excellent!…chicken parmesan, lobster ravioli in cream sauce, prime rib, huge antipasto, fabulous cheesecake and the glasses of wine were filled to the brim! The portions were substantial (to-go bags all around) and the food was prepared well and had marvelous flavors! The service was spot-on and they have robots that bring your drinks to you. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable! We’re so excited to have found La Cantina Italiana!!!

Ordered carbonara takeout. Carbonara was just alfredo sauce with bacon in it – not traditional. Man at the front desk was extremely rude – directed us to behind the building with such an awful and uncalled-for attitude that my partner and I were floored and will never return here. I will share the story with friends.
