I normally don’t go out of my way to get a nice burger; usually just call it a day with In-N-Out. It’s been a week since I’ve eaten here and I’m still thinking about this burger. Thick, cooked to the right temp, topped with fresh veggies and crispy bacon. The fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside. The high ratings don’t do this place justice; please just come here and see for yourself.

I had the firehouse and it was the craziest burger I’ve ever had. The avocado, blue cheese, and Frank’s hot sauce is a wild combination of flavors. Definitely worth a try, but it’s not the best burger I’ve ever had.

We had a mushroom burger, fries and salad. The burger was messy and delicious, fries were lightly crispy and done how I prefer them! The bacon was crispy and thick. The service was good too. We had a burger, omelette, chicken club sandwich and some tater tots. All were very good except for the chicken club which consisted of a very thin piece of chicken. In some spots it was much thinner than a piece of bread, so it seemed more like a vegetarian club sandwich. Most college students might find their prices a little high for their budget, so pay attention.

Bar with counter service, didnt leave the best 1st impression on my 1st time in. Food was incredibly subpar, started with Cajun tots, they were okay, then had Mozzarella sticks, Marinara was by far the worst I’ve ever had, and then had the 2022 Burger Battle winner “The Aggie Burger”… Just tastes like a sloppy mess of grease, garlic, and blue cheese. Bun was soaked with grease when it got to me, the Patty itself was unseasoned, this is what Davis calls the best Burger in town? Shame. At least the staff was very friendly and helpful.

AKA Froggy’s. Best burger in Davis area. Had a mushrooms n’swiss burger + tots. Absolutely amazing. Lots of burger choices and cooked to order. Had to order at the bar and only one bar staff so can be a bit slow if there are a lot of patrons.
