We were driving back home from Pittsburgh with some family members. Stopped at Luigi’s that was highly recommended. I’m from UpState NY and love good Italian Family Style Restaurants. Was not disappointed, excellent food and great family style service! I bought some of their excellent sauce to take home! Next time through I’m going to try the pizza!

This is the best Italian experience in the county! Staff is super hospitable, making you feel as if you were an old friend, and filling you with good food is their greatest pleasure. We had the calamari as an appetizer, and it was perfect coated and cooked. I was very pleased it wasn’t just frozen rubbery rings. My boyfriend had the shrimp Alfredo on fettuccine and you could tell everything was fresh and homemade. My small spaghetti and meatball was enough pasta for TWO meals, and I fully intend to have it for breakfast. We parked on the street and a quarter in the meter gave us two hours. I highly recommend Luigi’s if you are in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal here, we were greeted with a smile from the everyone, the owner himself came over and made us feel very welcome and we talked for a while. We can’t wait to go again. Excellent food , great prices and pleasant atmosphere.

Delicious! The pasta is made in house as well as the sauces. Salad cold and fresh and comes with sliced homemade bread. Never dissatisfied. I usually get the fettuccine alfredo. Would always recommend. It’s nice to enjoy a meal with linen napkins and tablecloth at your table. Prices are in line with quality of food.

RJ insisted we go to Luigi’s and I was a little skeptical of an Italian restaurant in the middle of nowhere. But to my surprise it was fantastic! We made reservations and were seated within 10 minutes. Our server Madison was wonderful, she was so sweet and friendly. We started with a liter of homemade summer sangria which was fruity and sweet. The bread was homemade and fresh and we ordered tomato salad to go with it. My lobster ravioli was so good, it tasted as if the lobster was dipped in butter before they made it into ravioli. It had a perfectly cheesy, creamy Alfredo sauce. I definitely won this round of who ordered best! RJs chicken parm was huge and we ordered the Luigi sampler to take home to his mom. We saw they had homemade German chocolate cake and had to get that too. Our total for 3 entrees, bread, salads, pieces of cake and sangria was $103. This would have easily been $200+ in Key West or NY. What a hidden gem in the middle of western PA!
