The food was excellent. A lot of local Mexicans came in for lunch while we were there. Nice view of mountains out the window. The chili relleno was very good, had a spicy kick. Chicken burrito deluxe was awesome. Fried ice cream had strawberry ice cream covered with strawberries and sopapillas, very good.

We stopped in while visiting Colorado. The food was SO GOOD! We are from an area near Boston that just doesn’t have good Mexican food anymore. We are so happy that we went here! I had the chicken enchiladas without mole, so couldn’t choose that below.

Good atmosphere for the most part, food was decent but service was eh. Ordered a quesadilla, that was good. Can’t really go wrong with that. Beef taco was ok. Sopapilla was seriously lacking, especially for 8$. Told me they didnt have whipped cream. They have 5 deserts including fried ice cream and said they didnt have whipped cream for the soppapilla. Ok thats fine can I get a little ice cream then, no…For 8 bucks I got slightly fried doe and a dirty plate (See it in the pic) yup that’s supposed to be clean. Not to mention they said no happy hr price for a marg because it was ordered @ 258. I won’t be returning here again.

I really don’t know how they have 4 stars… First red flag was the chips are store bought, then it was all downhill from there. Super greasy & just awful. The steak in the tacos were coated in grease & tasted how I imagine dog food would taste. Somehow they even managed to mess up a quesadilla.. Some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had.

Food is delicious! Everything was great! I finally found an AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD joint in Silverthorne, CO!! I have tried many mexican restaurants here and none compare to this place!!!! Please come check them out. Definately recommend the pastor corn quesadilla!! Menudo was good.

Traveler from Wisconsin, I have to say this place has the BEST street tacos and Bloody Mary I have EVER had. Service was great. Very clean place and pet friendly as other customers had a dog with them. If I ever visit Silverthorn again I will definitely be coming back.

I thought Silverthorne only had yuppy restaurants, breweries and corporate fast food places. this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever had. the sopes were some of the best I’ve ever had. My second time around I ordered the plantains. oh lord, i thought theyd have to forcibly remove me from the establishment. notice how all the poor reviews are from upper class ski culture people? listen up, snobs. Food poisoning doesn’t work that way. It is seldom caused by meat and symptoms don’t typically occur for at least 48 hours after you ate whatever two week old lettuce at the Michelin star restaurant you think is so great. for those still reading, dont miss this. the pastor is incredible. the huaraches is my next move but i need to be super hungry. thanks again fritangas.
