I was meeting a friend here for dinner. When I arrived, she was sitting at the bar. Our plan was to have a drink, an app and then dinner. The bar wasn’t full, there were plenty of open seats and hi-tops available. The bartender got us menus, we ordered drinks and chips and after we got our drinks he never came back to check on us. Never asked us if we wanted to order food, never checked to see if our drinks were ok… nothing. We sat there for an hour and a half. It wasn’t busy so there was no excuse. Clearly I wasn’t impressed Cant rate the food as I was never asked to order any.

Responding to post by Lexa Garvey. I was at the bar at the same time as she. She didn’t have a problem finishing her drink and having the one star bartender pack her egg rolls to go. Guess they were not that bad. She was a big girl, not missing any meals. Believe me, that bartender is bidding good riddance to her and her ilk.

Told the staff that the lady in the back kitchen who is yelling on the “bullhorn” makes the atmosphere sound like I was on isle 5 at Home Depot (no disrespect to Home Depot)!!! Why doesn’t she use wireless headsets with her kitchen staff???

It was a pleasure meeting the owner. The food is excellent. Service was very good despite them being extremely busy. My wife highly recommends the snapper. The shrimp scampi was excellent too. Sorry I did not take pictures of the food. I ate it before I thought about it. This restaurant is well run & very efficient. I was sitting by the door and found that there were a lot of regular diners who personally knew the owner. I highly recommend.

This last Saturday we had the opportunity to celebrate two birthdays at the Grill on Congress. Our party of 10 came from all over the US and everyone had a great dinner.
