I fell in love with the environment as soon as I wall in. It’s Dominican inspired and is perfect for a family adventure, date, or even a solo visit. I had the chinola juice and it was really good. In terms of food, everything was amazing and decently size, so you will not stay hungry. The empandas are freshly made and is a must try. The yaroa is also another favorite of mine. I need to come back and try the other delicious food items.

Honest review: Amores Cafe empanada are tasty , savory, and you will have you returning for more . Lately minor things such as closure in the middle of the day or no longer serving because of a catering is a bit of an inconvenience to local customers. I understand that prices are rising and it causing restaurants to raise their prices. However , to charge five dollars for about twelve fries is a bit outrageous. The least you can do is fill the container.

I like this place it does remind me of DR food was amazing the main dish was so good the quipe not so much the meat could have more seasoning on it had a lot meat that’s the only I will change the Yaniqueque was amazing coffee was good as well the service could be better there was only two servers for so many ppl that was there waiting time is a lil since they make there food fresh.

Amores café is amazing, food is awesome , portions and prices are on point. The staff was attentive and provided excellence service. Also the owner greeted everyone personally. Just prepare to be patient, for some good tasty homemade food take some time. Gracias por la excelente atencion.

We had a delicious meal here today. Started with the Yeniqueques (ham+cheese, cheese, and buffalo chicken) which were excellent. Then I had the fried salami (with wonderfully spiced french fries), my wife had a salad and a fresh squeezed juice, and my daughter had a pizza. The food was terrific and the staff lovely. So happy they’ve come to such a convenient location on Broadway in Inwood.
