We went to Metacom Kitchen for Mystery Monday. What a treat! We had our son with us and the hostesses was quick to set us up in a window booth table. Our server worked easily with our dietary restrictions and paced our courses perfectly. This has the added layer of the dynamic of our 3yr old, so no small feat! Our first course was smoked trout with dukka apple-caraway and rye pancake & poached quail eggs with charred onions and roast veg. Main course was Metacom’s “Fisherman’s Platter” and brisket lettuce wraps. Dessert was a coffee semifredo over streusel and carrot rice ice cream with chocolate granola. The bites were so artfully cooked and having complimentary dishes meant we were able to try a wide variety. This was a unique experience that we will remember for years to come. We cannot recommend Metacom Kitchen enough!

Went for the Monday mystery dinner. If you want to expand your pallet and try ingredients and cooking techniques you probably have never tried before this is for you.

Delicious and inventive, the food here is fantastic. Highly recommend the tasting menu or the mystery Monday three course experience. You can trust chef’s recommendations here. …and the duck! Metacom Kitchen knows how to cook a duck.

This place makes you appreciate fine dining. The meals were impeccable and service was great. My wife and I got the Valentine’s Day 3 course special and was completely satisfied. You can really tell the passion they put into each dish. Flavorful with personality. Don’t expect big portions here, your paying for outstanding dishes that are prepared by excellent chefs that know what they are doing. We will be returning. The parking is hard to find, so be patient, you might have to walk a distance.

How anyone could give this restaurant anything but all 5 Stars is beyond me. The creativity of the dishes is as good as anything you will find. Can not recommend enough.

We had an amazing experience at Metacom Kitchen! We don’t find ourselves on that side of the state too often, but we will have to make a point to visit again soon. Our waiter was incredibly helpful and very personable. The ambiance was warm and inviting. And the food was incredible. My husband and I are foodies of sorts and the whole meal was right on point for us. The presentation is artistic but still enticing, but the flavors and textures are what seal the deal. We have the duck plate, burrata, homemade pasta, and chocolate ganache dessert. The black pepper fettuccine is something dreams are made of… I had only brought the fork to my mouth and I already knew it was going to be amazing. The flavors are simple in their execution and delivery, but nuanced in taste. My mouth is watering just writing about it. Highly, highly recommend making a reservation here as soon as possible!!

This treasure of a restaurant was wonderful! We made reservations elsewhere outside and due to the wind it proved unbearable. They could mot accommodate us inside. Though this was just an hour prior to the Metacomet Kitchen closing the kitchen for the night – they accommodated us to a wonderful meal. Both meals were awesome. The drinks were not bad either!!!! We left really satisfied and happy we chose to go here! Thank you for accommodating us and also thanks for holding my phone and glasses too. Great staff and food divine!! Would have given six stars if I could have.

Yet again a great meal. My wife and I don’t give praise easily. Metacom has become one of our most favorite restaurants. Each course was delicious, the service and wine were great. I really recommend going.

Excellent upscale new American/French-American food. Don’t be fooled by the neighborhood, the place is quite cute!

As a long time chef and hospitality executive their Instagram feed came up as suggested. I started following and was inspired by their plating techniques. We live in Cumberland so this is a place we had to make a commitment to visit. Took my wife to dinner tonight to celebrate a professional milestone. Both our meals were delicious and service excellent. Plates were well presented and had a great balance of colors and textures. Both the scallops and salmon were perfectly cooked. I sampled my wife’s duck dish off the restaurant week menu and it was very tender and well seasoned. We will certainly visit again!
