We were served water in a dirty glass, evidenced by a lipstick stain. When I brought it to the attention of one of the workers (could be the manager, he’s older, he welcomed & seated us & was very upbeat) he attempted to joke it off by saying “oh, you don’t like that color? Haha” He then came around another time to ask how we were doing and I said that having been served in a dirty glass was still bothering me, he replied “it’s bothering me too” We never got an apology. Admittedly the food was good and priced reasonably, but it was hard for me to enjoy the meal or the experience because I couldn’t be certain that anything we were given was clean. Unfortunately, we had already started eating before we noticed the glass, otherwise I would have walked out. We left with the hope that we (including my son and husband) didn’t get COVID or oral herpes. It was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, my husband is a sweet man and still left a 20% tip. I’m still very grossed out and upset.

Update: We are back in town and making the rounds of restaurants we like. The manager is a nice guy, very welcoming. We were seated quickly, and our food arrived promptly. I like that on the table is half and half and real butter. I had the meat lover omelet, and it was large, but the bacon was a little overcooked for my taste. The grits were a little cold and thick. I enjoyed the coffee.

Unfortunately wasn’t impressed by the bagels. Had a garlic bagel with cream cheese but it had more of a bread consistency than traditional denser bagel. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. My son enjoyed the pancakes although they looked a bit overcooked or cooked too hot too fast.

Ordered takeout before leaving Key West and the food did not disappoint! Worker recommended the Big Bubba salami panini and it was super tasty and fulfilling. Potatoes were decent but just too soft for me. But overall, quick service and tasty food!

Great place to stop with my crew. Friendly staff even when rushing around to get a fully-packed restaurant served. The lox bagel was a perfect portion and reasonably priced. My group seemed to enjoy their French toast and corn beef hash as well, and prices were comparable to what you would find elsewhere on the island.

Recently spent a few days in KW and my wife had this place on her radar for breakfast based on prior reviews. We loved it so much we made this our breakfast go to restaurant. Eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, etc… were all delicious. The price is fantastic, especially for the early bird special, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Don’t by pass this outstanding eatery when in KW.

Gulf Coast Excursions
Our first time there and it was super! They have so many good things to pick from- you almost want to try a little of everything. We will be back very soon!! My Greek salad with an added scoop of chicken salad was so good and fresh! My husband had a the club sandwich and said it was really good also. Those pastries though… oh my gosh.. they were so tempting. Next time for sure. 😉 Go.. you will not be disappointed.
