Great to see Brix in their new home, the food is excellent – especially the sausage and burnt ends. Looking forward to trying out the chicken sandwich at some point. Great bar area as well and I’m sure patio will get plenty of use once it cools down!

So good I could cry!! It’s one of those places I’ll be dreaming about until I come back. The burnt ends as someone said in another review are like meat candy they melt in your mouth as do pretty much everything else here. Brisket, ribs, sausage – we got a plate with it all! Even the sides are fantastic.

Some of the best ‘cue I’ve had in my life. They have all the standards of Texas barbecue, and they prepare them admirably, but what keeps me coming back are all of the inventive fun specials they come up with. Whether it’s a bolognese made with brisket or chicken tenders and smoked chicken wings on a Sunday night, these crazy cooks keep the menu fresh and never miss. I’ll be sad to lose the vibe of the food truck when they move to their brick and mortar location (and I’ll miss having it a hop and a skip from my apartment), but I can’t wait to be able to get my Brix fix more often and easily.

Wonderful place to come to and eat excellent bbq. We came around an hour and a half after they were open and they were already sold out of 85% of the items on the their menu. We did order some tacos and were not disappointed! It’s a lovely food truck with picnic table seating in an outdoor area.

Excellent BBQ, but not the best in the area. I will recommend the brisket and burnt ends, they are some of the best that I have tasted. Pulled pork is excellent as well, if not a bit fatty. House Jalepeno cheese Sausage was dry and chewy. Barbacoa taco was very good, the green sauce was nice and spicy! The sides were average, including the beans and elote. Ribs are very good and meaty. House bbq sauce, if you must, is average. We got the Brix Tour platter, advertised as enough for 4, but with 4 pickle slices and a few pickled onions, it was a bit lacking there. Drinks are standard fountain drinks including the tea but they do have a full bar as well. We heard the Ragu was good, but that will be next trip! Not cheap BBQ either! Brisket is $30 lb.
