Great family diner in Mulberry. Open for breakfast and lunch. One of their specials are their “trashbrowns”, which are hashbrowns topped with your favorite toppings. Friendly, personable service. A great way to start your morning.

Had a hair appointment, but had time to kill so I stopped in for breakfast. Only 1 person working. He was nice though. Food was ok. Not the greatest but was still ok. Half way thru my meal. A roach crawled across the table. Yep I was done. Used the bathroom and my gosh it was very dirty.

NOT what it used to be! It’s been several years since I’ve eaten here and I remember it being a nice mom and pop place with a definite Christian theme. Well…that is all gone now. A friend and I have breakfast each Friday and decided to try someplace different today. We drove right by Egg Station (parking lot was full) to get here. It was 7:10 AM, prime breakfast time for a weekday. The parking lot was empty and when we walked in, we were the ONLY customers. No one greeted us at the door, just a sign that said to “seat yourself”. The waitress (owner?) came to our table quickly (I would hope so…we were the ONLY people there!) Her persona was off-putting and she didn’t want to engage. It was like she was already tired of being there (remember, it was only 7:10 in the morning!) She took our order and we never saw her again. An older guy (owner 2?) delivered our meals. The meals?…nothing to write home about. VERY bland and subpar. I’ve made much better at my house. Owner 2 visited our table once to refill coffee and once to bring the check, neither time being very personable. We paid our checks and left at 8:05. By this time the customer count had ballooned to a massive 2 people. I hate to be so critical of this establishment, but there are two things that I absolutely abhor… rudeness and poor customer service. There is never an excuse for either. Needless to say, I will not be back. If my recent visit is indicative of the daily operation of Joshua’s Kitchen, then it’s really sad.

Love this adorable and cute Christian family restaurant. The servers are so kind, very Southern sweet and they give excellent recommendations for what to try. I had the Trash Ruben hash browns and my friend had a burger, the food was perfect and delicious and very yummy. Loved the sweet tea too. Most of all I loved the quotes and bible psalms on the walls that give faith and inspiration. Like the family atmosphere

Asked for eggs that were not runny, crispy hash browns, and 3 pieces of bacon. Got mushy hash browns, half cooked eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon. Server replied “it was cheaper that way”. Did not ask for cheap, asked for eatable.

First time visiting this restaurant a few days ago. Our server Ashley was very friendly & welcoming. I ordered a cheeseburger & fries. The fries were crispy hot & yummy. The burger was juicy & cooked perfectly ( ordered medium well). The only down side was the sweet tea. I love sweet tea & it tasted a little sour. Service was fantastic & Ashley was perfect. I will definitely be back again.

DONT EAT HERE. The food was horrible, and when questioned ( not rudely) about a charge we thought was inaccurate, the waitress stomped off yelling about how anyone could speak to her like that. The manager ( owner?) did take the questioned charge off hence the 2 stars instead of 1, but this is the 2nd time we’ve eaten here and had a poor experience (it was convenient, but we should have known better). There will not be a 3rd time.
