First time there. The food was a bit salty for my taste. However, overall, it was a really great place! The staff was extremely friendly and constantly checked up on me to make sure I didn’t need anything else. Service was quick as well. Although it was busy, I was seated within 5 minutes and had food on my table within 10.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place amazing!! The ambience was so warm and friendly, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! Even though they were busy our waiter was very attentive to our party and even gave us suggestions and recommendations when we weren’t sure what to order. I got the carne asada fries since the waiter recommended it and it was a great decision so I recommend it to anyone who’s visiting! I decide to try one of their Mexican Candy shots off their daily specials and it was sooooo yummy! Never had a shot like that! This restaurant was a must-go to and I look forward to visiting the next time I come through Havasu! 🙂

Excellent food, as spicy as you want. Great ambiance. Romantic at night. Great service! The music is rustic and sweet. I got the Tres Amigos, three enchiladas: cheese, machaca, carne asada. I recommend! Photos of Mexican food are depressing in general.

After a really long day of taking in the sights, we were very, very hungry. Looked up a Mexican restaurant on the phone and El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant came up. Decided to give it a try based on the reviews. Ordered a carnitas plate along with a chili relleno plate. Let me start by saying that the chips and salsa (along with some beans) that were brought out to the table were top notch. Finished them off, but turned down anymore as we wanted room for our food. Both our plates were nice large portions and both were very tasty. The beans and rice served along with the main dish are excellent. Flour tortillas were warm and very good. Server was right on top of everything. Even got a nice desset as it was my birthday that day. For a place we “picked at random”, we totally nailed it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some moderately priced and VERY good food.

El Mariachi restaurant is a family owned Mexican restaurant I visited during my stay in Lake Havasu. When we arrived, we were sat down right away, although the restaurant was busy. I loved the chips with a side of salsa and refried pinto beans provided for dipping when we first sat down. I ordered a tasy dish that was referred to as Nuevo Mexico enchiladas, I believe. The staff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed seeing the decorative art and bright colored walls.

If you want authentic Mexican cooking without fancy frills, come to El Mariachi. I highly recommend it. My Mom’s family is from Hermosillo, Sonora, and I grew up eating delicious Mexican cuisine. You won’t be disappointed.

Horrible food, most wasn’t eaten, but some was since we were starving after traveling all day. Thought AZ would have authentic Mexican food but the food had no flavor at all. The Google reviews said 4.4 stars and I honestly have no idea why. Place was small not very friendly. Couldn’t wait to leave.
