Mad for Chicken is a restaurant chain best known for its signature soy garlic fried chicken and unique Korean inspired dishes. We first opened our doors in 2005, in Flushing NY and we’ve been flapping our wings ever since. With its rustic and comfortable ambiance, our locations are known to be “go to” place for groups of all sizes. In 2020 the company set forth to franchise to serve its worldwide mission on allowing everyone to become “MAD” for their chicken.

Bulgolgi Mac and cheese is my new favorite. The truffle fries and the fries in general are really good. Some of the best I have had. My only complaint was not being to get a lunch size portion.

Update 5/9/23: I’ve added some more pictures. We love the various bowls on offer, especially the bulgogi and kimchi bowls. Also, they frequently have live music on Thursdays and great happy hour specials. We are practically regulars at this point!

My new favorite place to come to on a Wednesday night! Karaoke and drinks half off at 7! The chicken was delicious. Fried to perfection and crunchy goodness. Taste was immaculate! The soy garlic and sweet and spicy were my faves. We were fortunate enough to see the owner sing as well for karaoke! It was a real treat and 10/10 will recommend. Will be back!!

The owner is very responsive and cares about customer service. When he discovered a problem with our delivery, he ran out and delivered it himself right away. We like the lemon pepper and sweet and spicy flavors of their crispy tenders . My daughter likes their Korean dishes with kimchi and bulgogi. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and we enjoy the trivia.

The fried chicken wings was well cooked and crispy but the bulgogi bowl did not taste like bulgogi. We could not put our finger on the flavor. The spicy chicken bowl was slightly bland without a hint of spiciness. Service was great but the food wasn’t. The Carrollton location was better.

The Best experience I have had by far in the new restaurants in the FLOMO area. As said by another reviewer DEFINITELY “get on the Seoul Train with Grace – sound effects included. She has soooo much patience and you can tell she enjoys her job. Don’t miss out on this experience.
