Wow! The servers are amazing. We were a group of 13, and they really did a great job of keeping drinks filled. The fried catfish was perfect – crispy, fluffy and tender. Their hush puppies were unusually large and quite tasty.

Still one of the best places to eat in the area. My companions rated the fish very highly and I had the chicken which was excellent. The breading was perfectly seasoned. They were a little short-staffed like every other restaurant but the staff on duty really hustled and kept things moving. Be sure to get there 15 to 30 minutes before opening time or you’ll have to wait for second seating.

A gem out in the middle of nowhere. Hush puppies are simply the best. I had their fried catfish basket and it was amazing. Don’t miss out on this place for some great food and service.

The best hush puppies ever, lots of portions and the nicest people helping us. Kept the drinks filled and the hushpuppy coming.. the cleanest and best tasting frog legs i have ever had in my life. The catfish was fresh and flaky , the grilled trout was so freaking good..The apple and peach pies are made the old fashioned way and was delish. The decorations are out for Christmas and they are so beautiful..

We would never have found this but one of our good friends took us to Granny fishes. It is very rustic inn casual but the catfish and trout were unbelievably good. They serve cornbread fritters with every meal. the waitress we had was excellent and she had a large number of tables but she was still keeping up with us. I can only recommend the catfish and trout cuz I’ve only been there one time but I expect we’ll be back many times. I believe this place gets unbelievably busy as well because we were there at 5:30 sharp and it was getting very busy when we got there.
