This tiny diner has some of the best food! It’s totally worth it to travel up to the redwoods to have a delicious breakfast followed by a hike in one of the local parks. They have excellent potatoes, vegetarian eggs benedict, added avo and shrimp, Hollandaise sauce is delicious, the breakfast burrito and the omelets and even the pancakes are so good. Hats off to the great chefs at Spankys and the friendly wait staff!!!!

Absolutely my favorite breakfast place. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and great prices. Where else can you sub out toast for a generous helping of biscuits and gravy. Ashley is the best. Nearly every weekend I order the basic 3 egg scramble with potatoes and biscuits and gravy and am never disappointed. If you want something upscale and fancy, you should probably take a pass. But if you are a fan of the basic small town American diner, this is your place.

Had the Hash and eggs and it was delicious! The hash is a bit different, made with hash browns and very crispy. But you could still taste the corned beef and it was very yummy. My husband had bacon eggs and hot cakes. The bacon was really good! Very generous portions. Lovely staff.

My favorite place to breakfast in the valley! Cash only. Nice places to sit outside. The croissant French toast is the secret weapon… . Chicken fried steak is amazing too. It’s a small place so take your time.

Delicious! Must try the french toast croissant…to die for…also had corn beef hash and that was was different from what I usually expect. This hash was more like hash browns , nice and crispy, I really enjoyed the taste and textur,yummy goodness!
