The food was great!!! So much better than any chain breakfast place I’d been to. I would recommend going out of one’s way to visit this place. The amount of food you’re given is generous for the pricing, and will fill you up. The service was ok, some of the tables weren’t too clean even after someone had gone through and cleaned them, and I will say the hot chocolate seemed like it was a packet mix, but other than that it was lovely!

Never had a bad meal here! The staff are super friendly and we have always had quick accurate service. The smothered country fried steak and eggs are great and if you like pancakes…..well…go here!

The food was delicious. I had the country boy platter which had eggs,bacon,sausage links,hash browns and pancakes. Although the service left a little bit to be desired, the server was just not friendly at all didn’t introduce herself nor greet us. Just made me feel like I wasn’t welcome or wanted me to be there. I probably won’t return.

We were part of a church group of a dozen people without a reservation for a Sunday lunch. They were very accommodating and moved tables for us. The wait staff were fabulous, and the food was fast, hot, and tasty. Great service!

Rickys Pancake is a perfect little “spot” for small towns. Great for friends to catch up! Grandson always gets the Mickey Mouse pancakes and bacon. Portions a decent.

Very good breakfast and lunch food. Had patty melt with cole slaw and milk. Onions were sauteed. Bread was perfectly toasted. Good portion of creamy cole slaw. Milk came in a tall glass. Left the restaurant full. My sons’ potato salad was also very good. Slaw and potato salad were a nice option from french fries.

Ricky’s is a quaint restaurant in a very small town and I’m sure most of the customers know each other. On the day I had breakfast there were several groups of older gentlemen chatting about local topics like getting the last of crops in and such. I was waited on fairly quickly and did not have to wait long for breakfast. My over medium eggs were nearly perfect and my toast and hash browns were quite good. I can’t vouch for lunch yet but breakfast was delicious. I’ve had it a couple times now and both were very good. It’s not a fancy place but you can get a good breakfast.

We actually wanted to go to the Ricky’s Pancake House in Jamestown, but when we got there, it wasn’t open! Even though we checked online and it said it was open. Not sure why it wasn’t, someone needs to update the hours! There wasn’t even a sign in the door with the hours. So we were disappointed, but remembered about Ricky’s in Pittsboro! So we went there instead.
