My first time sitting down and having food at this place and it was great. I had the Griot Fritay and my friend had the Kabrit Tassot Fritay. The drink was tasty but not too strong, I would have preferred it to be stronger but it was still delicious. The music and DJ was great, had us dancing in our seats while we were eating.

This was my first time dining here and I have to say everything was amazing! Haitian restaurants normally gives you amazing service horrible food or amazing food and horrible service. Pearl is the opposite! Food, drinks and service was amazing! My waitress Ginger was awesome. If you’re looking for great Caribbean cuisine please check them out!

I bought my friends with me to this restaurant and bar both were non Haitian but they had a good time . I found The food to be well prepared and service was quick. the hostess and bartender greeted us with warm and friendly attitude. But I will tell you what’s concerning is as you walk in your greeted with a pat down and a body scan. Gives you that feeling that this place cater to a rowdy crowd on the inside but I didn’t find this to be true.

We were in town and was looking for a late night local Hollywood restaurant for Haitian cuisine and a friend recommended Pearl of the Island. To my surprise, both the food and the service was incredible. I would highly recommend the Pearl to anyone looking for delicious Caribbean food and incredible service.

It hurts to give them 4 stars honestly as a loyal customer to the original location. Service lacked attention to detail. They are new to the nightlife scene, I think they can really do better. First off, the lounge ambiance could be a bit more elevated,too much people not enough space; lighting is a bit confusing, furniture and tables are not well displayed. We were given to go foam plate with plastic ware to eat with. The specialty drinks were not good, tasted like ready to mix brands, too much ice, had to switch to beer. The staff all seemed kind but there is a lack of professionalism.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Not only was the service despicable but we found strands of hair in two different entrees. When it was brought up to the establishment, the matter was taken with a grain of salt and the representative proceeded to sarcastically ask if food was found in the whole entire parties food. It is a shame that when we try to support our own we are treated with such distasteful service. I will never return to this establishment because you do not treat your customers with the respect that they deserve. We could have made a scene. However, we wanted to treat this with some decorum but there was no reciprocity. Management please do better. I truly do hope this never occurs with another customer. As for me, I will never return.

Wow, wow! The best fruit juices ever! I recommend the soursop and papaya juice!! Especially the soursop!! Haitain, way is the best way. Also, the food was outstanding. I recommend the stew chicken!

She not only provided knowledgeable recommendations from the menu, but also created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our dining experience truly memorable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and this is easily some of the best Haitian food in South Florida. Our waitress Marie was absolutely lovely and treated me and my family amazingly. I would recommend Pearl of the Island cuisine to any and everybody in search of amazing food and a great dining experience.
