I have a strange soft spot for Papa Murphy’s pizza. It’s probably one of my favorite guilty pleasure foods. There is an element of interaction in that you cook it yourself, the prices aren’t bad, and it’s the only place I would eat an entire item “family sized” to myself. There is something uniquely American about that.

I quit Papa Murphy’s many years ago due to moldy cheese. In a pinch during the holidays I gave them a second chance and was disappointed. Ordered online for a pickup at opening time only to find out their website and store weren’t on the same page. Had to wait. Got my order and baked it only to find out the toppings were completely wrong. Don’t order from Papa Murphy’s! They don’t know what they’re doing!

We have ordered the gluten free crust for years and always used our own vegan cheese. We were excited to hear that Papa Murphy’s now has vegan cheese available. They don’t let you order vegan cheese with a gluten free crust because “it’s just their policy”. Why the heck not!!!? You can customize any other pizza any other way! Extremely disappointing.
