I have to admit i really like their rolls i stop by often for lunch and it is fresh and delish. Although I feel they should offer lunch specials the place is dead during the afternoons they can drive up business with that.

More like 1.5 stars. Butter chicken was good. But that was about it. Wanted the shawarma but they were out of lamb when we visited. I should’ve walked out when I had the chance. We ordered a combination plate (minus the lamb) that left a lot to be desired. Kids meals came out and then we’re told that they’re out of ketchup (the kids meals came with fries). Our server was nice but didn’t seem to know what was included with the dishes we ordered. I wanted to like this place but it was a fail on so many levels. Never again.

This venue gets two stars, because of the decent food. However the hospitality and service leave much to be desired. I did not feel welcome when I sat down for dinner and it was hard to get the attention of the waitresshostess who kept walking into the back room. I decided to give their food a second chance and was told that my order for pickup would be ready in an hour, however upon arrival I was told that order wasn’t yet done being put together. I asked how much longer it would be. The hostess said they just needed to add pita bread to the order. So I sat down as the hostess disappeared into the back and didn’t return for close to 20 min. So I’m giving this place two stars because of the decent food. However it wasn’t worth the hassle, and tbh I will not be revisiting the Village Garden.

They used to be great. Service got bad. I never tried the food, just the hookah lounge.

From the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. Our waiter was sweet and attentive, place was appealing, and the FOOD was absolutely delicious.. Words can’t even describe the taste and service… Best Food Ever!!! I will definitely eat here again Last but not least portion sizes are huge so be ready and hungry

The food has been good consistently the service just ok. But, today there were these small flies around the food, it took 15 for a mango lassie drink, which I received after asking for it twice. The waitress did not come around nor did she remove extra plates until we asked her. Then a gratuity for 4 people was included. Although we would still tip, we definitely did not think the 18% gratuity was deserved and when we asked to have it removed the manager said it couldn’t be done, and that that’s ok she would pay out of pocket for us–which was insulting as if she had to complete our check… probably not going back.

I had their food couple of times, and both times are not to my quality. Today, when I’ve ordered the food coming down from Orland Park 25 minutes of drive, I’ll say it’s not worth it. First, they’re too pricey and second the taste is not that great. I rather pay that much money if the taste is good.

One of the best middle eastern food restaurants. Generous size meals, absolutely never finished my plate due to big size, and always take leftovers home. Really delicious sandwiches, and I personally recommend the chicken kebab sandwich which has an awesome special dressing. Outside patio for hooka is well ventilated. Service is great. Good for big groups as well. It has been my favorite place this summer, and I drive to it all the way from downtown Chicago frequently.

Called ahead and went there for early supper Memorial Day weekend without reservation, but the $17pp dinner buffet was closed til 8pm so we did not get to sample more dishes. They were out of samosas because of the Ramadan fasting holiday, and my friend and I were the only seated guests in restaurant. Staff and chef were very pleasant and attentive enough checking in on us, however and suggested various appetizers. The menu is very non traditional and has more than Pakistani/Mediterranean dishes to accommodate American tastes. We ordered the garlic naan, hummus, falafel and kubbeh appetizers which came out fast with different dipping sauces and were very tasty and just right proportions. For $15, wasn’t bad. (This place does not serve alcohol, FYI)
