We were already seated and we told the hostess we wanted to have a margarita and chips, and order food for take out. It seemed fine until a big party came in. The hostess told us we’d have to sit outside. There were only 2 of us, and several empty tables and I asked her where we were supposed to drink our margaritas and she told us again to sit outside. That seemed odd, and very rude, so we promptly took our service up the road to the good Mexican restaurant and they were very happy to accommodate us with our takeout order while we drank our margaritas.

We go to Taco Mexico at least once a week. Good food, family-owned business. My husband is bummed every year when they close between Thanksgiving and early January because he misses their burritos! I like their chicken (soft) tacos with a side order of pico de gallo. I get the same.thing every time.

It was OK at best. Salsa was so spicy even my spice loving husband didn’t eat it. We tried a nice variety of food but it was all a bit flavorless and we left a lot of food on our plates which we just don’t do. Ever.

Taco Mexico is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Kalispell/Bigfork. Their food is consistently good, and as one expects Mexican food to taste and be served. The wait staff is great. They are always very busy and multi-tasking, but they get it all done and provide very good service. We lived for a long time in a Mexican border town, and we thought moving to Montana we would sorely miss good Mexican food, but with Taco Mexico so close we don’t feel like we are missing a thing! 🙂
